This position requires an Associate's degree in one of the following areas of study: Avionics Technology, Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Information Technology, Software Engineering Technology, or Network Systems Technology. In addition, it requires a minimum of three years working with integrated Flight Simulation and Training Devices (FSTDs).
A minimum of one year of OEM TYPE SPECIFIC WORK EXPERIENCE in the engineering and technical support of FSTDs and Distributed Flight Simulation Networks may be substituted for the Associate's degree requirement.

The University of Central Florida Recreation and Wellness Center employs PRN (as needed) athletic trainers to serve in the supervision and coordination of the Recreation and Wellness Center's overall sports medicine program. Assist with the coordination and scheduling of student-athletes for medical referrals and determine a student-athlete's ability to practice and/or compete in consultation with the Team Physician(s) and Athletic Training & Risk Management Coordinator.
Consult with the Team Physician(s) and other athletic trainers for guidance on the treatment of injured student-athletes, and report on their progress.
Report the status of injured student-athletes to proper RWC supervisors and periodically meet to identify and discuss problem areas with proper members of the Risk Management Team.
Assist with the compilation, input, organization, and maintenance of all medical records on student-athletes Assist with the enforcement of codes of conduct and rules of use for the Athletic Training Clinic, the RWC's facilities and equipment relating athletic training functions.
Share in the responsibility of athletic training clinic maintenance and upkeep.
Work in conjunction with RWC staff regarding the safety and usage of athletic equipment.
Maintain a good working relationship with the RWC staff regarding the safety of practice and competition surfaces and general field/court conditions.
Maintain certification and license requirements of the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) and the State of Florida.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, and have CPR and AED certifications, and have a State of Florida Athletic Training License.

Student Health Services (SHS) housed within UCF Health is currently accepting applications for a Phlebotomist I - OPS. This position plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations by collecting blood and urine specimens for diagnostic testing. This role performs Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-waived tests to assist clinicians and medical technologists in conducting clinical analyses and evaluations. The Phlebotomist ensures specimen integrity by adhering to aseptic techniques, following established departmental protocols, and observing appropriate isolation procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the coordination of daily laboratory operations; including but not limited to greeting patients, instructing them on proper specimen collection method; obtaining blood and urine specimens; labeling specimens, processing patient laboratory orders for reference laboratories; inputting specimen data into computer; and processing blood and urine in the centrifuge.
Performs CLIA-waived (provider office performed labs) for immediate results.
Analyzes labs to ensure the highest quality in results, within the established manufacturer's time frame, and according to established aseptic techniques.

Reports results following clinical protocols, alerting physicians and/or nurses immediately about abnormal results.

Provide scheduling and check-in assistance to staff, including verifying identification, biometrics, and taking photographs, if required, of students and candidates signing in for exams and computer-based or paper tests.
Escort candidates to the appropriate testing room and collect testing materials at conclusion of exams.
Provide visual security measures, including using a security wand and operate the electronic/digital security systems during testing. Assist with opening and closing procedures to include preparing materials and clean up of testing labs.
Report and document any breech of security and uphold confidentiality policies as determined by the federal government, state, university, department, and testing entities.
Maintain the confidentiality of all examinations housed and delivered in the Testing Center.
