**What You'll Do:**
* Verify install schedules, as well as daily and weekly schedules for on-site mechanics and helpers.
* Supervise mechanics and helpers, including arrival time on the job, quality of work being completed, and company vehicle condition.
* Order materials based off of specs, submittals, and takeoff to ensure that the materials are on site when needed.
* Responsible for installs per code/spec.
**Qualifications**
**What You'll Bring:**
* 5+ years of verifiable experience in a commercial or industrial Plumbing role is required.
* High School diploma or GED is required.
* Currently owns a personal set of tools required for the trade.
* Journeyman license is required, Master's is preferred.
* Completion of OSHA 30 certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.
* Driving Requirements
+ Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
+ Must have positive points on state driving record.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
+ Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
+ All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
* Ability to communicate effectively with employees both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to read and effectively interpret blueprints and other construction materials.
* Ability to make effective decisions and have strong problem-solving skills.

Your Responsibilities
Assist with the support of all aspects of LAN-based networking

Experience with Cisco and Juniper product lines at a technical and hardware level
Hands on experience troubleshooting hardware such as routers, switches, network interface cards, firewalls, and telecommunications devices
Experience with VoIP and supporting VoIP over a production WAN
Ability to view a computer monitor for several hours at a time

* Troubleshoot oil leaks, vibration problems, etc.
* Perform test runs on rebuilt motors.
* Miscellaneous mechanical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* High school degree or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience disassembling, troubleshooting, and reassembling motors, pumps, and generators.
* Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
* Must provide own tools (testing equipment is provided by the company).
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be physically able to safely operate equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing/stooping/kneeling for long periods of time.
* We are a service industry on call to our customers 24/7/365. To meet our customer's needs, employees must be able to work overtime as needed, including extended hours outside of assigned shift. This also includes weekends/holidays.

What You'll Do:
The summer intern will be involved in many aspects of Vortex Metal Manufacturing administrative processes. These will include mean manufacturing audit, tooling and equipment inventory, quality control improvement, and/or a process automation study.
* All interns will participate in a summer-long project, culminating in a final presentation alongside fellow interns.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
* Currently enrolled in an accredited Four-Year university in a Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree program.
* Rising junior (third year) and senior (fourth/final year) students are preferred.
* Must be willing and able to work required working hours as assigned by supervisor (not to exceed 40 per week).
* Approximately 12-week internship, Summer 2025
* Eager to learn and develop new processes and procedures.
* Strong Excel and automation skills are required.
* General physical requirements:
* Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
* Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
