**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Project Planning & Prefabrication**
+ Coordinate field labor needs, master labor plan, and schedule with the Project Manager, General Foreman (GF) and Foreman as well as with other internal divisions and unions.
+ Work with GF and Foreman to pre-plan for HIGH RISK activities such as power outages, rapid installs, and emergency repairs.
+ Hold field teams accountable for short duration scheduling and planning.
+ Attend Project Kickoff and Prefab meetings; lead regular foreman meetings and other meetings as necessary.
+ Coordinate calls for new hires, terminations (both voluntary and involuntary) and transfers of field employees. Includes maintaining accurate list of personnel with respective locations, craft codes, etc.
+ Will serve as the technical expert and resource for the Charlotte market and mentor office and field staff to expand their technical and field knowledge.
+ Will initially collaborate with the Charlotte project manager to successfully execute complex mechanical construction projects. **Training & Development**
+ Train GF and Foreman on processes for disciplinary action as needed in the field for tardiness, absenteeism, lack of production, etc. Support GF and Foreman when disciplinary action is taken.
+ Implement GF and Foreman training program for field processes and ensure these processes are being followed.
+ Conduct and maintain detailed performance evaluations of all GF and Foreman.

**Project Cost Control**

leaking underground storage tank (UST) investigation/remediation experience (retail petroleum), particularly working with the NCDEQ UST Trust Fund. to join our growing Energy Team.
This position is HYBRID.
This position will provide technical oversight and also perform technical tasks for planning, feasibility, design and construction projects on a variety of projects focusing on Microgrid, BESS and renewable energy projects. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual with an excellent understanding of developing, designing and implementing microgrid solutions for a wide variety of end-uses.

Interface regularly with the clients to identify project needs, communicate engineering solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects

Project Oversight

Prepare submittals, RFI's, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation.

Represent the company in client and project meetings
Service Department Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department within the assigned region, ensuring efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Manage service technicians and dispatching, ensuring timely response and high-quality work execution.
Review service contracts, proposals, and preventive maintenance agreements for accuracy and profitability.
Monitor service performance metrics (response times, callbacks, productivity, and margins).
Support service technicians with technical direction, parts/material coordination, and escalation issues.
Regional Oversight
Lead and manage mechanical operations within the assigned geographic region, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals.
Coordinate with the Director of Construction on staffing, workload, and resource allocation for both service and construction projects.
Provide mentorship and leadership to project managers, superintendents, and office staff.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Business
Administration; equivalent field experience considered.
OSHA 30 and PMP certification preferred.
10+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, with both service and construction focus.

Job Summary
Summary: The HVAC Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to the facilities engineering and maintenance functions and is assigned to work for a Supervisor, Foreman, and/or Master Mechanic on a regular basis.

Assists in making decisions on all repairs and reports major problems to the Maintenance Supervisor, Foreman, and Manger as appropriate.
Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical and mechanical systems, or the facilities of any related systems, using power & hand tools and other necessary equipment.
Reviews outside vendor projects and makes punch lists.
Analyzes and corrects complex building system problems and electro/mechanical problems related to utilities.
Supports project management activity as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license.
A general understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.

Transit / Rail Engineering Intern
to support our growing Transit and Rail practice in North Carolina. **AECOM** is seeking a Civil Engineer III to join our Remediation team in the Charlotte, NC office. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering professional consulting services to our key clients.
The successful candidate will provide technical skills leading and supporting Environmental Remediation and Coal Ash closure projects within the department and will develop strong relationships with the team and clients to enable pursuit of new opportunities. The job responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
+ Work collaboratively with the Remediation team Project Managers and professionals within other AECOM business lines.
+ Function as the Engineer of Record sealing and signing reports, drawing sets, technical specifications, and related regulator application forms.
+ Function as Senior Project Engineer working on projects with various levels of complexity, responsible for technical delivery, design, schedule, client liaison, reporting requirements, and coordination with project team members.
+ Prepare designs, reports, specifications, and cost estimates for civil and environmental remediation projects, including material excavation and handling, landfill design and construction, dewatering and water treatment, stormwater management, site restoration, environmental permitting, municipal site plans, and similar large-scale projects.
+ Work in Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications with technical staff. Strong knowledge or experience in Autodesk Civil 3D experience preferred.
+ Proactively identify opportunities to increase project efficiencies, improve technical methodologies and add value to client service offerings.
+ Mentor junior and mid-level staff. Certify staff experience for Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam
**Qualifications**
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ BA/BS in Civil Engineering + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Masters Degree in Civil Engineering

What We Offer
Compensation:
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $33,000 - $41,000 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual's tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
