Compensation Range: $75,000 - $90,000
This position is bonus eligible.
**SUMMARY**
The ITTechnical Analyst is responsible for providing general IT support to ECS and the local IT support groups at our 50+ Operating Companies. Reporting to the ECS IT Support Manager, this position will troubleshoot Tier 1 through Tier 3 technical issues, liaison with local IT teams as necessary, and see problems through to resolution. The Technical Analyst is also a participant in acquisition activity. This position is based in McLean, Virginia. However, candidates in other locations and meeting the requirements below may be considered.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Deliver excellent support to ECS Operating Companies through exceptional customer service
+ Provide guidance and support to ECS and to ECS Operating Companies
+ Computer, software, printer, & mobile device inventory, setup, maintenance and management
+ Endpoint patch management and monitoring for computer and server operating systems
+ Manage Active Directory and Group Policy
+ Backup maintenance and monitoring
+ Provide end user help desk support
+ Deliver relevant education and training and create documentation for non-technical users
+ Ensure that Corporate SOP's are met
+ Work remotely and onsite at OpCos to perform and participate in IT projects and upgrades
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Support Manager
+ Participate in pre- and post-acquisition activities
+ Travel required up to 40% to US-based operating companies

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Product Owners in completing complex development taskings while aiding in the daily execution of the software development team. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-end geophysical algorithms for seismic processing, imaging, and interpretation. You will participate in design discussions, development, and deployment in large-scale state-of-the-art computing facilities across the world with a geographically dispersed developer team, researcher team, and user base.
Must have current U.S. work authorization or qualify for sponsorship.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or 5 years of hands-on experience in scientific programming
* Fluency in C/C++ (Fortran also preferred)
