**Job Title: Project Manager/ Estimator**
**Job Summary:**
The Project Manager/Estimator (PM/E) performs different functions assigned by the Service &
Special Projects Division Manager. The position consists of attending bid walks, estimating,
project kickoff and PM duties which involve tasks like conducting research, procuring project
material, assisting team members during project development, scheduling, and updating project
data; managing paperwork, maintain/updates status logs, and contributes to progress reports.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Review and evaluate project plans and specifications, bid documents, and other relevant
project documents to identify what is needed for a project and to create a bid proposal.
- Prepares bid documents including specific scope letter for each project, develops the
estimate or budget using Accubid software.
- Identify any issues, conflicts, and other problems in the bid documents.
- Identify strategies to create bid advantages.
- Reviews quotes to confirm adherence to quote requests and accuracy of quotes received.
- Calculate the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available
documents.
- Lead estimating close out meetings, project kickoff meetings, and project closeout
meetings.
- Price change orders as required and be able to meet with customer to explain and defend
the pricing.
- Conduct assessments to identify and seek solutions to project problems in order to reduce
downtime.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients to ensure complete customer
satisfaction and good prospects for future business.
- Coordinate and ensure smooth operation of multiple projects from start to finish.
- Ensure changes in project plan are communicated to team members.
- Carry out quality reviews and checks to ensure project operations are in line with industry
best practices.
- Fill in for other project managers by managing daily operations in their absence.
- Respect decision-making boundaries and know when to call the attention of the manager.
- Analyze project for value engineering options while taking into account specific job
conditions that may affect labor and material to be purchased and installed.
- Anticipate potential problems and devise solutions proactively.
- Request material and equipment quotes from vendors and equipment suppliers.
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with vendors & customers.
- Provide monthly financial reporting and projecting with management.
**Qualifications**
- BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field
- At least 3 years of combined experience in estimating or project management in the
construction industry - preferably electrical contracting
- Knowledgeable with a wide variety of electrical materials and methods of installation
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient with BluBeam, Excel, and Word software (Office 365)
**Working Conditions:**
Mostly office based, team environment. Typical working hours for a project manager / estimator
may vary. Generally, Monday - Friday during normal business hours, but when deadlines
approach, they may be required to work much longer hours, including some weekend work. The
PM/E in the field may be required to work out of the office and sometimes to stay away from
home for short to long periods of time. Some travel may be required for training/continuing
education.
While performing the duties of this job, the PM/E may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles,
moving mechanical parts and vibration; may be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at
construction job sites (weather, noise, etc.).

**Job Summary:**
The Project Coordinator (PC) will assist and support Project Managers and electricians on site. Track job cost, process and assists with billing for the Healthcare Division.

+ Reviews project/work order logs (updates w/o log for progress, checks with field supervision on progress, prioritizes billing needs)
+ Reviews project cost reports (runs reports from Empire, cross-reference with w/o log if job is on track for completion)
+ Meets with field supervision to determine status of job progress (determines/confirming job progress to establish billing eligibility)
+ Maintains Smartsheet billing logs and attends weekly billing meetings
+ Maintains A/R Smartsheet log
+ Track and manage project permits, including fire permits, ensuring all required permits are obtained, up to date, and completed with the city
+ Coordinate and communicate with customers regarding material delivery schedules, provide updates on expected arrival dates and any changes to timeline

**Responsibilities**
+ Review project documents to identify and communicate environmental risks to the project team.
+ Review documents for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act of 1966, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, and Section 404/401 of the Clean Water Act, and Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act.
+ Identify permit requirements of a project on a federal, state, and local level, and work in an electronic database to track these permits.
+ Inspect and manage onsite stormwater management plans
+ Forecast, track and communicate environmental costs.
+ Review and develop environmental plans to address the following:
+ Wetlands

+ Water quality
+ Waste management
+ Wildlife surveys
+ Hazardous materials

+ SPCC/spill plans
+ Mitigation plans for adverse impacts
+ Develop and conduct environmental protection and awareness training.

What You'll Do
Maintain overall proper maintenance of the aircraft.
Complete inspections when due, utilizing the appropriate checklist.

Correct discrepancies reported by the pilot.
Maintain correct and legible log pages/book and make component permanent record card entries, signing off all work with an authorized signature.

Conduct a daily aircraft inspection. Preflight and postflight
Clean or assist in the cleaning of the helicopter each day, including wiping clean all excess grease and sweeping out the cabin.
Clean and polishing the windshield each day prior to the first flight.
Protect the aircraft on the ground.
Assist the pilot in securing the landing area, by keeping unauthorized people away.

Responsibilities
* Develop drawings and calculations for temporary works and construction methods, including:
* Heavy lift plans (site logistics, equipment selection, geometry/feasibility studies, design of custom rigging and lifting devices, hoisting and jacking systems, custom tools, and crane pad / working surface designs)
* Erection procedures or planned sequences related to construction or demolition operations
* Evaluation of existing structures for construction loads and/or demolition planning
* Structural analysis to ensure stability during the temporary condition of new bridges, viaducts, buildings, tunnels, and other structures (for example: construction staging, design of temporary falsework systems, and rebar cage hoisting and support)
* Support of excavation systems or cofferdams for construction below grade
* Temporary bridges, trestles, work platforms, fall protection systems, formwork, and other features relating to our construction operations
* Perform and/or review others' calculations and design drawings, according to industry codes, standards, additional client design criteria, and structural theories
* Ensure quality and accuracy of the design deliverables

Qualifications

Winco, Inc. offers helicopter-assisted services for traditional electric maintenance and construction. As an aerial lineman, you'll play a critical role in the installation, inspection, and repair of high-voltage transmission systems, working from helicopters. This position demands expert knowledge of electrical components and the ability to perform complex tasks such as mid-span operations, wire clipping, and equipment installation while maintaining strict safety standards.
What You'll Do
Have vast knowledge of the transmission electrical system and its components.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical transmission systems, including conduits, cables, wires, and related equipment.
Work from helicopters, climb poles or use truck-mounted buckets to access equipment.
Clip/unclip wire from the helicopter skid, HEC line, towers and ladders.
Dead end wire from the helicopter skid, HEC line, Dead end boards and ladders.
Maintain positive control of the wire during mid-span operations from the skid or HEC line.
Cut out/Press mid span sleeves, install mid span equipment including markerballs, spacers, bird diverts and related equipment.
String wire conductors and cables between poles, towers, setting lines in place and using rigging to adjust tension.
Inspect power lines and identify problems.
Test power lines for the presence of electricity, using testing equipment.
Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
Adhere to safety practices and procedures, such as checking equipment and PPE daily.
Erect/maintain structures and their components.
Direct and teach laborers, apprentices, and groundmen.
Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.
Adhere to all DOT laws/regulations.
