**SUMMARY**
The Senior BIM/VDC Coordinator utilizes successful, progressive experience as a BIM/VDC Coordinator to play an integral role in Eagle Electrical Services construction team. This individual will work closely with the Project Management team and will be heavily involved in all modeling efforts for 2D and 3D coordination and shop drawings. Multitasks successfully in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressured construction environment. This position mayoversee a Team when working on large project requiring more than a few BIM/VDC Coordinators or Assistant BIM/VDC Coordinators. May back up or act on behalf of BIM/VDC Manager, as needed.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Review and production of 3Delectricaldrawings for field installations and coordination with other sub-contractor trades
+ Participates in coordination meetings to resolve clashes while maintaining budget, constructability and NEC code
+ Produces shop drawings, cross-sections of underground, conduits and cables and otherelectricalsystems as required for instructions to fabrication and installation crew
+ Prepares documentation requesting clarification of original design in the form of RFIs and follow up responses
+ Reads architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical floor plans, section and elevations
+ Confers with engineer of record and project management staff to revolve problems and explaining drawings to production or construction teams and providing adjustments as necessary
+ Travel to various project sites as required
+ Comply with all company operating policies, procedures and safety programs
+ Successfully manages a small BIM/VDC team
+ Backs up or acts on behalf of the BIM/VDC Manager, when required
+ Perform other duties as required
**Qualifications**

**PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
+ If already a Journeyman electrician, a total of 5 years' experience as a BIM/VDC Coordinator is required with 6 or more years preferred OR if not a Journeyman, a total of 6 years' experience as a BIM/VDC Coordinator is required with 7 or more years preferred. Must also have at least 1 or more years' experience leading a small team of Coordinators.
+ Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
+ Advanced knowledge of all facets of construction blueprint, specifications and Requests for Information (architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and special systems)
+ Proficient in 3D coordination with other trades and able to effectively advise junior BIM/VDC members on developing their proficiencies.
+ Proficient in basic computer skills (ex. folder structure, emails & attachments, keyboard shortcuts) with more advanced skills preferred and able to coach junior BIM/VDC members on improving basic computer skills and knowledge.
+ Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
+ Working knowledge of BIM 360 Glue, BIM Collaborate, or other model viewing/collaboration software, preferred
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

What You'll Be Working On

This recruiter's role will be essential in helping us staff for new Team Members due to the growth of PADNOS and our business units. The ideal candidate will be goal driven and possess a high sense of urgency. They will be focused on the candidate's experience and coordinate all aspects of the Team Member recruitment process. The Recruiter handles full cycle recruiting and executes recruitment strategies that attract qualified talent to the organization. Your success will be measured on your time to fill openings and first year turnover metrics.
Accountabilities
Help Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for all current and future open positions.
Host and attend Career Fairs and Networking events at PADNOS locations and external events.
Source qualified candidates, screen for cultural and technical fit, and ensure long-term hires are made.
Maintain and ensure use of recruiting ATS database and systems for efficient applicant tracking and to maximize efficiencies.
Builds company presence in social networks and diverse local employment communities.
Stay abreast of evolving industry trends, best practices and leading-edge sourcing streams and be able to suggest and implement changes to address staffing needs expeditiously.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand long-term hiring needs.
Serve as point of contact for internal and external relationships for the groups you support.
Track and submit weekly recruitment metrics.
Responsible for the negotiation process with candidates and establishment of job offers.
Close candidates, managing expectations regarding start dates and on-boarding process.
Collect and submit all new hire paperwork.
Partner with outside staffing agencies to fill temporary roles as needed.
Identify and attend local career fairs.
Partner with weekly onboarding activities.
Collaborate with other recruiters and HR team members.
Continuous improvement and system integration project.
Qualifications
Previous training, experience or certifications in employment law, HR or recruiting.
3 - 5 years professional workplace experience required - Manufacturing setting preferred.
Ability to work 100% in-person at our Grandville or Holland corporate office.
PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
Strong computer skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, e-mail).
Strong knowledge of on-line sourcing websites, i.e., Monster.com, Career Builder, indeed, etc., and social media sites such as LinkedIn.
Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication with all levels of workforce.
Proven organizational skills.
Strong sense of urgency.
Ability to manage high volumes in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Multiple ATS systems, Experience with Day Force is a plus.
