The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Proposal Engineer / Project Engineer will perform the duties described in the below and will be considered an Exempt employee. The ideal candidate will have excellent math skills, applied creativity, mechanical skills, problem-solving skills, team-oriented, customer service driven, and attention to detail. This candidate will also have experience in a project-related industry. Job Description: Provide general project management support to the project manager and the team. Review and understand customer technical specifications relating to the Water treatment plant. Should know about pumps, tanks, pressure vessels, piping, valves, instruments, Monitor compliance with applicable codes, standards, practices, and specifications. Prepare the necessary proposal documents/project documents. Facilitate timely engineering reviews of vendor quotes. Review vendor quotes and purchase requisitions for compliance with project specifications. Vendor follow-up & expediting Periodic vendor visits to monitor the progress Create and maintain the Project Master document list Co-ordinate the internal Engineering activities within different offices of Aquatech and with external engineering agency and Site Contractors Coordinate engineering responses to RFI from subcontractors Coordinate initial document submissions, address customer comments, timely resubmit revised documents, and closure to achieve approved status. Coordinate collection of necessary inputs to 3D model and resolution of issue tags. Follow up on Project action items to ensure timely closure. Attend and distribute minutes for internal and customer meetings as required. Create and distribute monthly Project Team updates. Provide status, control, and progress reporting support services on projects. Prepare project schedules in MS Projects or Primavera P6 per project requirement. Verify the project progress & prepare the monthly progress report Support correspondence with customers via the Project Manager. Travel to visit vendors, and job sites, or attend meetings with customers as and when required. Compile the RFB for EPC Contractors Compile the proposal/project documents required for client submission. Work autonomously without constant guidance. 25% of Travel (International and Domestic) will be required. Other duties as assigned. Skill Requirements: Able to apply logical or scientific thinking principles to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Interpreting specifications related to engineering equipment.
