Education
Required - Registerednurse diploma.
Preferred - associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Certifications
Required - Current registerednurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Job Duties

Endoscopy Nurses (RN) are registerednurses with expertise in Endoscopy with an understanding in physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia.

Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.

Stores, checks and administers medication in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
Maintains timely and accurate nursing records and ensuring that confidentiality is respected.
