Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures. Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report. Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center. EMT Instructor Aides to serve an apprenticeship with the respective training agency, provide appropriate instruction under the supervision of a Department of Health and Senior Services, Office of Emergency Medical Services approved EMT-B instructor, attend and participate in all aspects of EMT Basic training, and assist in maintaining continuity for the training program. The EMT- Instructor Aide works towards gaining certification as an EMT Instructor.
