The SSU is a short-term, 24-hour program for adults experiencing the side effects of drug and alcohol misuse. The goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment and a connection to follow-up treatment. Intervene in detox situations: Provide immediate assistance and intervention for individuals experiencing acute symptoms of detoxification.
