This academy style EMT training program will run from March 2, 2026 until May of 2026. The training program consists of 280 hours of education that includes 224 hours of didactic and psychomotor training and 56 hours of field precepting. This is a temporary position scheduled 32 hours a week, Monday - Thursday, 0800-1600 at a rate of $16/hour. Training will take place at Mutual Aid Ambulance Service Inc., 561 West Otterman Street, Greensburg PA 15601. Upon successful completion of the EMT training program and certification, trainees will be offered a full-time EMT position at a starting rate of $19.57/hour which will include a competitive benefits package.
