Licensure/Certification: A Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) certificate or higher Phlebotomy (CPA) or Laboratory license (MLT/CLS) issued by the state of California. Experience: One-year acute care hospital experience preferred or externship at a NorthBay Healthcare System facility preferred. Skills: Phlebotomy. Basic medical terminology, typing, math and computer skills. Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in the following age groups: Geriatric, Adult, Young Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal.
