SCHEDULE Chaffey College offers two Emergency Medical Technician Basic Training courses each Spring and Fall semesters. The class meetings are on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 1730-2230 and Friday's 0930-1430. One EMT class is scheduled during the summer session, with skills practice being one to two days a week. Job Summary: The Emergency Medical Technician functions in a large tertiary academic medical center comprised of multiple hospitals and ambulatory sites licensed under Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) with level one trauma designation, ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) receiving center designation, Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center accreditation.
