QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable pre-hospital emergencymedical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level. Experience must be a full-time primary duty. Work experience in a hospital or clinic setting does not satisfy this requirement.
Must possess current and active National Registry of EmergencyMedicalTechnicians certification as a Paramedic as well as the following certifications:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Professional Rescuer certification or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Advanced Trauma Training credentials [i.e., International Life Support (ILS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent]
Obtain and maintain Tactical Combat Casualty Care - Combat Medic/Corpsman (TCCC-CM/C) certification, or an equivalent trauma course. If direct services in a medical labor category requiring TCCC-CM/C has not been performed in the last 12 months, a new TCCC-CM/C certification must be obtained prior to deployment, regardless of the expiration date of their previous certification.
Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.
Must attend and successfully complete required training
Qualify with the Glock-19, M4, M240, M249, and requalifying as required by the task order (TO)
Complete the Physical Readiness Test (PRT) at the 65% performance level and maintain that fitness level for the duration of the contract

Ensure all class and lab space is always properly policed, keeping areas and equipment neat, clean,
and in full working order.
Teach for the entire duration of the class period, maximizing the instruction within the available class
time.
Follow all rules, regulations, policies, et., set forth by the Director and Coordinator staff.
Adhere to 64-J Bureau of EMS Florida Administration Codes.
Qualifications/Requirements
Vocational/Technical training in the field of Firefighter-Paramedic. An Associate's degree is preferred.
2-5 years of proven experience is required.
Must have the ability to comprehend and deliver advanced life support curricula in the classroom, clinical, and lab environments.
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Canvas and familiarity with JBL Learning and FISDAP student skill tracking software is required.
Must have experience using advanced EMS equipment and training simulation mannequins and EMS training equipment.
