Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Surgical Technician II in the Operating Room you will deliver high quality, patient centered care as you assist staff during operative and invasive procedures. You will ensure the operating room is adequately prepared for procedures and act as a preceptor for other techs as needed. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
In this role:
You will be competent in all Level II procedures (spine, peripheral CV, advanced endoscopic, multi-specialty procedures) as verified by specific competencies.
You will work with Housekeeping and Central Processing staff to clean the Operating Rooms and equipment between patients following facility policies and procedures.
You will participate in safety initiates to ensure correct surgery inpatient identification, and verification of the procedure to be performed within the OR when the patient is present and prior to the surgical prep.
You will rely on previous experience to anticipate and meet the needs of the surgeon.
You will follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.
You will consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well- stocked/organized, and safe patient care environment.
What qualifications you will need:
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified Surgical Technician (Surgical Technician III) in the Operating Room you will deliver high quality, patient centered care as you assist staff during operative and invasive procedures. You will ensure the operating room is adequately prepared for procedures and act as a preceptor for other techs as needed. In this role:
You will have the ability to first scrub Level III procedures (total joint replacements, complex orthopedic, neuro and spine procedures, peripheral vascular). Scrubbing a minimum of 3 of the 5 procedures.
You will work with Housekeeping and Central Processing staff to clean the Operating Rooms and equipment between patients following facility policies and procedures.
You will participate in safety initiates to ensure correct surgery inpatient identification, and verification of the procedure to be performed within the OR when the patient is present and prior to the surgical prep.
You will rely on previous experience to anticipate and meet the needs of the surgeon.
You will count all sponges, needles and instruments with the circulating RN on all surgical procedures done in the Operating Rooms following facility policies and procedures. In the event a sponge/needle count is incorrect, the circulating RN will inform the attending surgeon and the Anesthesiologist and a course of action will be determined and the action will be documented on the Operating Room Record as defined by facility policies and procedures.
You will follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.
You will consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well- stocked/organized, and safe patient care environment.
What qualifications you will need:
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
Surgical Technologist Certificate (CST) and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent required. Must maintain required education and certification.
Completion of surgical technologist course preferred.
At least 1 year of hospital surg tech experience required

Position Summary
Under the direction of the City of St. George Dispatch Shift Supervisor, uses radio, telephone, and computer systems to dispatch police, fire, medical, and other services to requesting agencies and the public; provides emergencymedical information in response to medicalemergencies; deals with sensitive and confidential information and is held accountable for the dissemination of that information; and provides information to the public on city ordinances and state and federal laws.
Essential Functions (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. 1. Receives all non-emergency and Emergency 911 calls from all areas within Washington County, including medical, police, and fire emergencies.
2. Prioritizes emergency telephone calls based upon the severity of the information provided. 7. Enters, updates, maintains, and retrieves information in the Motorola Flex records management system that is essential to providing an effective and efficient public safety response to the community.
8. Receives and dispenses information on City, state, and private property impounds, repossessions, stolen, and recovered vehicles using the NCIC computer system.
9. Responds to citizen requests for information or refers the appropriate department or agency.
10. Receives initial information requests from the news media and refers to the proper department personnel to ensure release of timely and correct information.
11. Communicates effectively on the radio and/or telephone while entering data into the computer system.

Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED plus short-term training in operating room setting

Minimum of three years experience in a hospital operating room.
Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment. Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Surgical Technician in the Operating Room you will deliver high quality, patient centered care as you assist staff during operative and invasive procedures. You will ensure the operating room is adequately prepared for procedures and act as a preceptor for other techs as needed. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:
You will be competent in the knowledge, skills and abilities to fulfill the scrub technician activities in the operating room as defined by AORN standards.
You will work with Housekeeping and Central Processing staff to clean the Operating Rooms and equipment between patients following facility policies and procedures.
You will participate in safety initiates to ensure correct surgery inpatient identification, and verification of the procedure to be performed within the OR when the patient is present and prior to the surgical prep.
You will rely on previous experience to anticipate and meet the needs of the surgeon.
You will count all sponges, needles and instruments with the circulating RN on all surgical procedures done in the Operating Room following facility policies and procedures. In the event a sponge/needle count is incorrect, the circulating RN will inform the attending surgeon and the Anesthesiologist and a course of action will be determined and the action will be documented on the Operating Room Record as defined by facility policies and procedures.
You will follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.
You will consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well- stocked/organized, and safe patient care environment.
What qualifications you will need:
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
Surgical Technologist Certificate preferred (CST) or equivalent.
Completion of surgical technologist course or comparable experience.
One-year operating room experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified Surgical Tech, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to the company's mission and vision by assisting with the provision of safe and effective nursing care in accordance with a defined scope of practice within the operating room.
