Rectify discrepancies immediately or contact those who can help to avoid delays or injury. * Sets up the operating room based on surgical procedure schedules. Carefully selects and opens only needed supplies. * Ensures the proper functioning of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies during surgical procedures. * Performs surgical counts of sponges, sharps, instruments, and miscellaneous items, according to established policies and procedures. * Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and surgical team staff. Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE, Interventional Cardiologist to be a member of the Cardiovascular Services team of 7 cardiologists and one cardiac surgeon at our Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center - Waco, Texas location starting in 2026.. Duties include STEMI coverage (1:4) and (1:4) weekend light to moderate call coverage. Additional duties include diagnostic cardiac cath, peripheral angiography, PCI and peripheral interventions.
