The Emergency Department has recently been updated with advanced equipment and has 22 exam rooms. We are staffed with Emergency Medicine-trained Physicians and additional daily coverage with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Sub-specialties such as Surgery, Cardiology, Hospitalists, Pediatricians, Neurology, Orthopedics, OB/Gyn and Psychiatry are available to assist with the care of our patients.
The Emergency Department has approximately 30,000 visits per year. Additionally, there is a dedicated behavioral/mental health emergency department staffed with dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses and staff. St. Mary's has inpatient child/adolescence psychiatric services as well as adult psychiatric and chemical dependency services.
