This Summer Internship will assist with the Forever in Your Heart bereavement program, a unique initiative that supports Parkview#s perinatal loss families by using 3D scanning and 3D printing to create personalized keepsake mementos. In addition to supporting this meaningful program, the intern will contribute to a variety of innovative projects involving the design and fabrication of patient-specific anatomical models, novel task trainers, and custom educational tools for both patients and healthcare providers. These projects will be part of the work conducted in the Advanced Medical Simulation Laboratory, focusing specifically on collaboration with the specialized 3D Printing Team. The role offers hands-on experience in applied medical simulation and advanced manufacturing technologies in a clinical education setting. Design engineering process experience and technical skills with CAD software, SLA or FDM additive manufacturing, two-part RTV rubber molding, soldering, programming, data collection, or other engineering-related skills are highly recommended for this position.
