Unit-Specific Duties
Support surgical patients and tailor care based on procedure and anesthesia type.
Monitor patient understanding of instructions and respond to changes in condition.
Participate in pre-op and post-op assessment and education.
Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) RN Duties (as needed)
Ensure pre-admission testing is completed accurately and on time.
Review PAT orders for clinical appropriateness based on surgery type, age, and health status.
Requirements
Active RN License
BLS Certification (Required)
1+ year of RN experience
Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing strongly preferred
ASN or BSN (BSN preferred)
Schedule & Contract Details
Night shift (7p-7a)
3x12-hour shifts
36 hours/week guaranteed
Local or travel contract
