+ Drive sourcing decisions for NPD projects: supplier selection, RFQ, costed BOM ownership, PPAP, and risk mitigation.

+ Manage purchased material sourcing projects, including cost modeling and CapEx.

+ Strong project management, communication, and MS Office skills.
+ Familiarity with IPC/IEEE standards and supplier collaboration.

+ Lead projects and initiatives of moderate scope, complexity, and impact.
+ Execute the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures, and the product/program requirements.
+ Evaluate loads from both the engine and the airframer.
+ Apply loads to size hardware based on strength, LCF, damage tolerance/fatigue, fire and other design requirements.
+ Write Certification reports for both FAR33 and FAR25.
+ Provide sustaining support for fielded hardware; MRB, DR, VSE, etc.
+ Interface with adjacent hardware owners and airframers.
+ Perform structural analysis using finite element analysis (FEA) in support of new engine designs and fielded products.
+ Prepare and present technical information to internal and external customers.
+ Document and communicate Engine Mounts design, analysis, and test data.
+ Share engineering information, lessons learned, and promote open dialogue.
+ Prepare invention disclosures for technology that provides a competitive advantage.
+ Assure proper documentation of technical data for assigned projects.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with an emphasis in structural design and design optimization.

**Desired Characteristics**
