The Compression System & Services North America - Environmental, Health & Safety Director is a critical regional leadership role which drives the strategy and implements a best in class safety and sustainability culture. This position will collaborate with the executive leadership team and provide support to our operational teams and Plant and Services EH&S Leaders in leading and supporting EHS activities, programs, and incident prevention activities at their location(s)while ensuring compliance with Ingersoll Rand processes, local, state, and national requirements. Responsibilities:
* Builds positive, collaborative relationships at all levels of the 59 CSS North America Manufacturing, Service, RD and Warehouse sites in creation of a zero incident culture which results in attainment of EHS goals and objectives.
* Collaborates applicable EHS policies, procedures, training, auditing, reporting and tracking processes in compliance with Ingersoll Rand requirements; local; state; and federal rules and regulations.
* Validates, via auditing data entry and uses established tools & processes to ensure data accuracy, analyzes trends and delivers reports in a timely manner including incident reporting, auditing, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information. Job Overview
This position will be responsible for managing sales and use tax compliance activity for all North American entities covered by the SSC. Ensure all monthly return information is prepared in a timely manner, property tax returns are filed on time, and annual reports/license are completed on a regular basis with little to no delay in completion. Along with regular monthly activities, also assist internal teams with indirect tax inquiries and managing technologies the team is responsible for. Reports to the Indirect Tax Manager North America and part of our Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) team.

* Sales and use Tax returns
* GST/HST/PST returns for Canadian operations
* Property tax renditions
* Other SALT Annual reports and miscellaneous license returns
* Related general ledger account reconciliations
* Execution of timely SALT payments through Accounts Payable team
* Manage exemption certificate maintenance for both customers and vendors
* Research SALT queries to ensure compliance
* SALT-related advisory for a variety of departments
* Responsible for reconciling the general ledger accounts related to the tax returns listed above.
* Assist with pulling support and coordinating with auditors for state sales tax audits
* Other duties related to supporting the indirect tax function as assigned.

The Compression Systems and Services - North America business unit has an opportunity for a Product Manager, Small Reciprocating Compressors. This role will report to the Reciprocating and Small Rotary Portfolio Leader. This role is responsible for strategy development, roadmap, new product introduction, and lifecycle management across multiple brands of reciprocating compressors in North America. In this roll you will lead the strategy for the Ingersoll Rand, Gardner Denver, Champion, and DV Systems brands for Small Reciprocating compressors.
