This position provides direct patient care and serves as a resource for PCT's and nursing staff. The lead PCT supports a unit with medically complex patients, including those requiring telemetry monitoring, EKG's, Falls precautions and Pressure Injury prevention. This individual will also take a leadership role in optimizing workflows, ensuring best practices in patient care, be an active member of the UBC and fostering teamwork across the unit. All Lead PCT responsibilities are performed under the supervision of the MS Registered Nurse. Minimum Qualifications * Education o High School diploma or equivalent preferred. * Experience o 3 years of acute care hospital experience preferred. * Licensure and/or Certification o BLS healthcare provider required. * Skills o Ability to take vitals. o Communication skills. o Interpersonal skills. o Computer skills. o Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. o Ability to maintain confidential information.
