The Division of Animal Resources, within the Emory National Primate Research Center at Emory University Field Station (Lawrenceville, Georgia), is currently seeking Animal Care Trainees to join our team. Our work consists of providing husbandry and care for a large colony of nonhuman primates in an open campus-type setting. In addition to the husbandry and care duties and responsibilities, trainees are also trained to assist veterinary staff, colony management staff, and behavioral management staff. Once trained, Animal Care Trainees are assigned to an alternating weekend and holiday schedule.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, extremely dependable, reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a positive attitude and passion for animal care in a research environment. The Animal Care Trainee will be a team player who is willing to learn on the job and collaborate with coworkers and other departments at the facility. The Animal Care Trainee will work to ensure the highest quality of husbandry and care. Efficient and effective communication skills with co-workers, the management team, PI's, research staff, students, and other support services is also required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Camp Summer Interns will assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of eight Children's medically focused Summer Camp Programs. Children's Camp Interns will attend 2 weeks of overnight residential camp throughout the summer. Interns will also spend 1 day a week in the Arthur M. Spend up to 10 hours a week walking neighborhoods and testing all 4 roles as an administrator, supervisor, enumerator, and data collector.
We will provide the Android devices required. The tester will follow a closely designed standard operating testing procedure, identify any issues with newly enhanced features, and report these using the team's Jira site. You will use the full suite of GPSSample tools, including the GPSSample app, the GPSSample Decoder, and the Quarto Summary guide.

Job Description
The Children's Care Network Internship with our pediatric clinically integrated network offers a unique opportunity for a driven intern to learn about and support value-based care initiatives. Job Description
The Patient Access Intern will understand the full umbrella of Patient Access services; Scheduling functions and registration (Check In/Out) including regulatory and compliance procedures. This intern will gain a clear understanding of insurance verification/financial clearance requirements and authorizations - Partnering closely with practice operations, patient experience and revenue cycle. This internship offers a great opportunity to understand Patient Access KPI's and metrics each team is responsible within their role and team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with process improvement opportunities including overhaul of Standard Operating Procedure manual for downtime processes for Patient Access
* Participating in updating policies and procedures regarding PRN staffing hours and guidelines.
* Supporting project management work with 2026 Access Services goals including technology enhancements, automation, and reporting
* Providing support and expertise in process mapping and overall guidance on updated walk in process
* Learning KPI Reporting and data collection for scheduling errors
* Contributing to MyChart Patient Experience enhancements and digital workforce
* Providing a project summary at end of internship of lessons learned and recommendations
The Children's Summer Intern program allows interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on meaningful projects alongside Children's professionals. Intern responsibilities may include project management, event planning and support, logistics, data base management, research, and analysis. Interns may explore career paths and apply for full-time positions upon successful completion of the program.

Education
Clinical Focus:
* College student with at least two years in a health sciences related program, such as pre-med, nursing, biomedical engineering, biology, chemistry, or statistics, or post graduate student working toward a Master's of Science in public health or medical degree
Non-Clinical Focus:
* College or graduate student that is currently working towards a Bachelor or Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or other related field, required
