Ideal for those interested in nursing, healthcare administration, or public health, this role will provide an immersive experience of healthcare communication and leadership dynamics. They will create content for social media to enhance engagement and visibility of the nursing department's initiatives while highlighting nursing operations. Additionally, the intern will read and edit Magnet stories to highlight the innovative and impactful work being done by nursing teams within the hospital. Meetings Intern will attend: * Magnet team meetings (cadence: weekly) to learn processes and support team * Shared Leadership meetings (cadence: every 6 weeks) to identify topics to share on social media/Engage and take pictures for photo repository and social media posts Magnet Support: * Magnet Document: Proofread stories and edit to remove any patient identifiers/information * Uploading & cataloging photos from shared album to OneDrive for easy access for Magnet team Social Media * Create content for Viva Engage, Instagram, and Facebook to increase engagement with staff and increase awareness for the work of Shared Leadership * Chief Nursing Officer Rounding - Partner with CNO and Magnet team to obtain pictures/videos of CNO to increase social engagement * Magnet updates - Highlight stories featured in document (video or post) * Shared Leadership video - Create a "What is Shared Leadership" video that can be shared with new nurses and online * DAISY highlights - social media posts that can be used throughout the year highlighting DAISY winners * Community Nurse Advocacy Fellowship - highlight 2025-2026 cohort work * Will meet and attend CNAF meeting to get to know nurses to increase awareness of the community impact of Children's nurses * Moultrie Mission Trip - Possible opportunity to travel to Moultrie, GA to capture content for social media * International Mission Trip - create video for future advertising * My Path/Advancements Spotlights - highlight nurses that have advanced through video and posts to encourage nurses to grow their careers * Certification Highlights - Highlight different nursing certifications that are available as well as nurses who have obtained them and what they did to prepare * Nursing Roles within Children's - highlight different nursing roles within Children's that can be spotlighted throughout the year. * Benefits of working at Children's - create video of benefits * Anniversary Highlight (prep for October) - spotlight nurses that are celebrating milestone anniversaries The Children's Summer Intern program allows interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on meaningful projects alongside Children's professionals.
