This individual:
Prepares and stains cytologic material for routine procedures; evaluates examination results for validity and reports results as prescribed by standard procedures.
May prepare specimens for cytopathologic examination.
Evaluates cytologic material for carcinoma or other diagnoses and completes all daily assigned screening.
Reviews quality of staining and the adequacy of the specimen to support an adequate diagnosis.
In complex cases, evaluates all information available and determines whether analysis results should be released, repeated, or referred to a pathologist.
Assists the Pathologist and Radiologist on fine needle aspiration biopsy procedures and is competent in giving an adequacy assessment.
Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in medical technology, clinical lab science or a chemical, physical or biological science.
Other bachelors degree will be accepted if graduated from an accredited school of cytotechnology or if science and math coursework meet requirement of certifying agency.
Education Exception: Bachelors degree may be waived for a Cytotechnolgist who was ASCP certified in the years prior to the bachelors degree requirement by ASCP and a HEW/HHS technologist certified by Health and Human Services.
At least two years of experience. Experience in Gynecological, Non-gynecological and FNA cytology preferred.
Certification as CT (ASCP) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology which meets Georgia's Department of Human Resources requirements.

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in chest or abdominal imaging for full-time or part-time remote positions to join the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT).
Candidates ideally will integrate in the division focusing predominantly on chest imaging, including chest X-rays, oncologic chest CT studies, lung cancer screening studies. Interstitial lung disease cases are also available to candidates who have interest. Candidates may choose to focus predominantly on thoracic imaging or have a mixed practice with abdominal or multispecialty imaging.
Our department is in a growth phase currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers that compose the radiology practices of Emory Healthcare and the Grady Health System.The Division is strongly oriented toward innovation with several Artificial Intelligence tools available to support the daily practice and operation.
In collaboration with successful candidates, physician schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success. We have several template schedules within the department including a 26 weeks on 26 weeks off schedule consisting of 8am-5pm weekday shifts and 7am-4pm shifts on the weekends/holidays. This equates to 182 shifts of clinical duty per year. We have additional schedules which can involve evening work and multispecialty imaging if this is an interest for the candidate.
Candidates may decide to participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision.

Major Responsibilities:

Education/Experience Required:
• Master's degree • One year of experience in EAP field • Two years experience in Behavioral Health and/or addictions • This position will need to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, i.e., understand child growth and development, normal patterns of adolescent behavior and look for signs of normal aging; prior experience with various age groups is preferred.

Job Description
To provide Anesthesia and related care to the surgical patient during the immediate pre-, intra-, and post-operative period. Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities to include:
* Anesthetics Administration and Monitoring: Assist the Anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-operative data; induce, maintain, and discontinue anesthetics as directed by the Anesthesiologist; prepare selected drugs and equipment necessary for the conduct of the planned anesthetic; promptly record complete and pertinent anesthetic information on the anesthesia record.
* Pre- and Post-Operative Duties: Manage pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, including ventilator support placement of intravenous, arterial, and central venous lines, and blood product transfusions as directed by the Anesthesiologist; regularly monitor patient by viewing and analyzing ECG, temperature, heart and breath sounds, noninvasive/invasive arterial blood pressure, gas analyzers, and other vital signs (including central venous, pulmonary arterial, and intracardiac pressures when appropriate) and equipment; monitor arterial blood gas, hematocrit and hemoglobin, and other measures determined appropriate by consultation with Anesthesiologist.
* Emergency Response and CPR: Perform initial acute CPR in life-threatening situations or as directed by a physician and instruct others in principles and practices of anesthesia, respiratory care, and CPR as directed by an Anesthesiologist; choose appropriate anesthesia and drugs to be administered in life-threatening emergencies where standard orders for resuscitation or therapy are routine or where the standard orders for the conduct of a specified anesthetic are prescribed.
* Documentation and Quality Improvement: Visit patients post-operatively to determine quality of recovery and to discover any problems arising from the conduct of the anesthetic, and report and document complications to the Anesthesiologist and documented for awareness and quality improvement; document post-anesthetic evaluation in patient's record to include date, time, evaluation, and signature.

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in cardiothoracic imaging for full-time or part-time on-site positions to join the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT).
Candidates ideally will integrate in the division focusing on cardiothoracic imaging, including chest X-rays, chest CT and MR, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer screening, cardiac CT and MR, and vascular imaging.
Our department is in a growth phase currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers that compose the radiology practices of Emory Healthcare and the Grady Health System.The Division is strongly oriented toward innovation with several Artificial Intelligence tools available to support the daily practice and operation.
In collaboration with successful candidates, physician schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success. We have several template schedules within the department with multiple possible daily work arrangement based on candidate preference, including standard weekly assignment, 1 week on 1 week off schedule, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule, 26 weeks on 26 weeks off schedule consisting of 8am-5pm weekday shifts and 7am-4pm shifts on the weekends/holidays, and additional flexible arrangements. This equates to 182 shifts of clinical duty per year in a full-time setting. We have additional schedules which can involve multispecialty imaging if this is an interest for the candidate and evening work. On-site and remote working shift may be offered according to candidate preference. Moonlight opportunities are available at request.

We will provide the Android devices required. The tester will follow a closely designed standard operating testing procedure, identify any issues with newly enhanced features, and report these using the team's Jira site. You will use the full suite of GPSSample tools, including the GPSSample app, the GPSSample Decoder, and the Quarto Summary guide.

Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures. Practices proper sterile technique in the preparation of necessary supplies. Performs all invasive procedures in accordance with bloodborne pathogens, isolation, and infection control policies and procedures.
Is authorized to obtain medication or contrast material as directed for administration by a licensed practitioner.
Practices principle of radiation safety for self, employees, patients and family members. Follows appropriate radiation safety standards
Reports malfunctioning equipment to the department director/manager/supervisor and clinical engineering/radiology engineer precautions. Maintains knowledge and skills required to work safely in an environment that can create significant exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious disease.
Adheres to the hospital fire and safety procedures. Attends all in-service classes and completes all required safety modules.
Performs work in an accurate and timely manner in periods of crisis and emergency situations where time is critical. Rotates shifts as required including call back, holidays, and weekends. Adheres to the Atrium Health attendance policy by being punctual and taking measures to prevent absences.
Operates radiology computer system to include entering orders and charging procedures/supplies. Documents contrast administration in the MAR.

The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Emory University Department of Pediatrics invites interested applicants for a faculty position (open rank) in the Section of Psychology. The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center is a national leader among childhood cancer, hematology, and bone marrow transplant programs. Aflac Psychology is a valued Section of the Center with 11 faculty psychologists and neuropsychologists, two psychometrists, up to three postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students who engage in patient care and clinical research in the areas of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult psycho-oncology and -hematology.
**About the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center**
The hired neuropsychologist will join one of the strongest pediatric hematology/oncology programs in the country.
- Our oncology program cares for more than 500 new cancer cases per year. We represent the pediatric arm of Emory's NCI-designated Winship Cancer Center.
- We have the largest pediatric hematology program in the country (including 2000 active patients with sickle cell disease) and one of the four largest pediatric oncology programs in the country.
- Our blood and marrow transplantation program performs an average of 80 transplants annually.
- Children's Healthcare of Atlanta-the only tertiary pediatric center in the dynamic metropolitan Atlanta area-serves a population of nearly 6 million people, providing a strong basis for clinical programs in rare disorders.
The neuropsychologist will join a multidisciplinary team that includes pediatric neuropsychology, pediatric psychology, hematology and oncology providers, as well as advance practice providers, social workers, child life specialists, and hospital-based teachers. This is a primarily clinical position with up to 80% time dedicated to patient care. Candidates with a strong record of scholarship and extramural grant funding may be eligible for an additional 20% time dedicated to research or a reduction in clinical responsibilities if successful in securing grant funding to cover clinical effort.
Clinical responsibilities include the coordination and provision of comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to outpatients with hematology and oncology needs, pre- and post-treatment screenings, brief targeted screenings, and (limited) inpatient evaluations. Full psychometry support is provided. Opportunities for program development are also available, and clinical responsibilities will include developing disease-specific screening clinics. Available training opportunities include the supervision of pediatric neuropsychology and psychology fellows and doctoral students from local universities. Research responsibilities center on the coordination of neuropsychological and psychological data that are part of collaborative group (e.g., COG, PBTC, PBMTC, etc.) trials. Consultation/collaboration with our hematology/oncology providers and pediatric psychology team is also available.
Successful candidates will have:
- PhD/PsyD from an APA/CPA-accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
- Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship
- Completion of a two-year Neuropsychological Fellowship with specific focus in pediatric neuropsychology
- Currently licensed as a psychologist or license eligible to practice in Georgia
- Eligible to obtain board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology

Job Description
Assesses, plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates education for clinical employees which promotes clinical and professional development resulting in improved quality of care for patients and families. Experience

The orientation plan should align with system orientation programs such as but not limited to Patient Care Provider Orientation, Nurse Residency Program, PEDS Program.
