JOB DESCRIPTION:
+ The Physician will attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing.
+ Attend to the medical needs of all patients by performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume.
+ The Physician will participate in on-call duties and actively participate in meetings and committees.
+ Practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
+ Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
+ Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction.
+ Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate.

The Division of Otolaryngology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta + Emory University is expanding, and we are actively seeking board-eligible/certified pediatric ENT surgeons to help us meet the growing demand of the communities we serve and continue providing advanced care for pediatric disorders and diseases of the ear, nose, and throat.
Our group of surgeons focuses on providing patient-centered care for the children of the Southeast and beyond, leveraging the capabilities of one of the largest pediatric health systems in the country. Our team provides a robust multi-disciplinary care experience, with clinics dedicated to aerodigestive pathology, complex dysphagia, hearing loss, tracheostomy care, vascular anomalies, and refractory sleep apnea.
Our growing team of otolaryngologists and advanced practice providers manage routine ENT problems and complex cases in the areas of:
* Aerodigestive
* Airway disorders
* Craniofacial disorders
* Feeding and dysphagia management
* Head and neck tumors
* Hearing Loss
* Sinus disorders
* Sleep disorders
* Vascular anomalies
Experience

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the leading pediatric care provider in the state of Georgia, is seeking pediatric trained anesthesiologists to join our general anesthesiology staff to join its growing Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Anesthesia care is provided at two tertiary care hospitals (Arthur M. Blank and Scottish Rite) and two outpatient surgery centers for children undergoing surgical procedures of all types as well as for children undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures outside of the OR environment. An anesthesia team model is used and includes pediatric anesthesiology fellows, anesthesiology residents, and anesthetists.
Teaching and research activities are important components of our mission and the ideal candidate will bring skills and experiences that can enhance these areas of our Division. Our program includes an ACGME accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship. Research and teaching activities are cultivated through strong relationships and affiliations with the Department of Anesthesiology and other departments within the Emory School of Medicine, the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory, Georgia Institute of Technology and the Centers for Disease Control. This position offers an academic track or a clinical track tailored to the candidates' interests. The academic track includes an academic appointment with Emory University School of Medicine with rank commensurate with experience. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required.

Minimum Qualifications

Responsibilities
Serves as in-house Internal Medicine Service (IMS) physician assistant and maintains responsibility for the assessment and care of Internal Medicine patients under the direction of the IMS physician(s). The Physician Assistant of the Spine Center has primary responsibility for the assessment, evaluation, care and follows up of all patients referred to the Spine Center. Under the direction of the Supervising Physician, the Physician Assistant has overall responsibility for the planning and continuity of care for all patients. Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, the Physician Assistant has responsibility for the planning, administration, control and quality management of the department activities. The Physician Assistant for Outpatient Cardiology has the primary responsibility for the assessment, and care of cardiology patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings under the supervision of a Northside Cardiologist. Under the direction of the cardiologist, physician assistants will provide direct patient care, oversee diagnostic testing, and support the physicians in other clinical activities per their scope of practice. The Physician Assistant for the Bone Marrow Unit has primary responsibility for the assessment, evaluation, care, and follow up of patients admitted to the inpatient Bone Marrow/Leukemia service.

PA fellows will gain comprehensive training in high-acuity neonatal care; developing the foundational knowledge base, clinical proficiency, and leadership skills needed to thrive in a leading healthcare system. This program serves as an entry point and career development pathway for PAs interested in neonatology, offering robust mentorship, simulation-based education, and opportunities for sharing scholarly work. Graduates from this fellowship will be prepared to step into practice at the top of their scope, with a clear trajectory for growth as independent neonatal APPs.

Experience
