KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in directing the strategic planning, development, and implementation of programs.
Represents the organization at meetings, conferences and other events.
May develop and present speeches or presentations to generate or enhance awareness of program(s).
Provides technical support by evaluating established processes, conducting training, attending operational meetings and networking with affiliated groups.
Monitors progress toward achieving established objectives and deadlines.
Participates in planning, administering and monitoring program related budgets.
Conducts research, designs new initiatives, and collaborates with others to ensure program(s) remain viable.
May serve on, hold office in, or chair committees.
May write publishable articles and papers.
May supervise staff.
Oversees or assists in developing operational and statistical reports for management and regulatory agencies.
Ensures required records and documentation are maintained.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
Additional Duties:
Works with the Vice Chair of Research to manage the Department's Research portfolio
Works with the post-award specialists to solve problems, answer questions, and give guidance on grants management topics
Works with PIs and their team members to jointly solve questions and challenges in their daily work.
Communicate with PIs on a regular basis regarding budget and expense adjustments and revisions.
Reviews effort reports and manages quarterly effort certification process.
Assists faculty/PI in the development, preparation, and submission of grant and contract proposals.
Assists the PI in the development of budgets and budget justification which includes proofing the budget for inconsistencies and ensuring accuracy.
Monitors proposal status
Assists with the review of other support pages for accuracy in reporting
Works effectively with other offices (RAS, OSP, IRB, RCG) on research proposals and management.
Assists PIs with staff recruitment and development and student recruitment
Assists with faculty research recruitment
Assists with research event planning
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program(s) and five years of program related experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.

SUMMARY:
The Senior Associate Director, reporting to the ProgramDirector, supports leadership and management of the Conflict Resolution Program and serves as Deputy/Acting Director as needed. The role leads planning, implementation, and evaluation of program initiatives, with primary responsibility for CRP's U.S. work and expansion.
Key duties include supervising staff and contractors; overseeing project development, grant proposals, budgets, and reporting; and engaging in policy formulation, risk management, and program promotion. The SAD represents CRP with internal and external partners, develops strategies responsive to U.S. conflict dynamics, and fosters collaborations with government, private, and international stakeholders. Additional responsibilities may include fundraising, publishing research, and managing financial operations. Due to travel locations, Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) may be required.
FORMAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assumes a senior role in the planning, development, and implementation of various aspects of a complex global program.
Serves as a liaison and key spokesperson to various committees and organizations. Leads policy formulation, strategy development, and management of daily operations.
Collaborates with representatives from private, government, and international agencies to design, implement and/or evaluate program-related projects and strategies that effectively address the public needs associated with the program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in a field related to the program and seven years of professional experience related to the program and previous supervisory and program/project management experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-graduate degree in conflict resolution, political science, sociology, law, or related fields. 15 years of equivalent work experience, if no advanced degree, will also be considered.
Proven experience in U.S.-focused conflict resolution, including a mix of international and U.S.-focused work.
Experience with facilitation and a demonstrated capacity to work effectively across political and sectarian divides is necessary.
Candidates should have proven familiarity with conflict assessment methodologies. Experience with electoral violence mapping, identifying triggers and conflict prevention approaches are highly desirable.
Deep understanding of U.S. politics and political trends, including experience in local, state, or national legislative or executive operations, grassroots organizing, state-wide or national political or issue-based campaigns, or political or issue-based communications.
Understanding of strategic political communications and messaging, including approaches, methods, tools, and measurement.
Experience with the emerging landscape of U.S. nonprofits working on domestic conflict mitigation, and experience with voting rights and voter mobilization groups, is helpful.
Experience using data analytics for conflict mapping and risk analysis also is a plus.

SUMMARY:
The Senior Associate Director (Sr. A.D.), Caregivers, reports to the Director of the Rosalynn Carter Mental Health & Caregivers Program (RCMHCP or MHCP) of the Health Programs and oversees the Caregiver pillar. In collaboration with the Director, the Sr. AD. plays a lead role in setting the program's strategy and holds responsibilities for growing the caregiver portfolio of work supporting caregivers and caregiving.
The Sr. AD provides supervision and mentorship of staff, projects, and budgets, as well as administrative and programmatic oversight. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent the program to internal and external stakeholders, including partners, donors, delegations, and other organizations.
Build and maintain strong partner and donor relationships; promote collaboration across Health and Peace Programs and international offices.
Supervise Caregiver staff, support Associate Director in managing personnel matters, and participate in hiring and performance management.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping, quality control of documents, and strong program operations through direct oversight or delegated supervision.
Write and edit briefings, reports, correspondence, and public-facing materials in collaboration with relevant Carter Center offices.
Work with the data analyst to support applied research in partnership with subject-matter experts, academic institutions, and government and NGO partners.
Support implementation of Carter Center and Health Program policies; ensure staff awareness, compliance, and opportunities to contribute to operational improvements.
Encourage ongoing professional development for self and staff through training, networking, and industry engagement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

CAREER COACHING & ACADEMIC ADVISING - 30%
Provide career education and counseling to undergraduate business students.
Engage in 1:1 career coaching with undergraduate business students; support BBA CMC programming.
Provide academic advising and course planning for an assigned caseload of undergraduate business students.
CMC OPERATIONS - 20%
Manage the centralized CMC Canvas page to house job search tools, student opportunities, office events, and appointment resources.
Manage student import process and create events in career services management system (Handshake).
Primary departmental liaison with Handshake and Emory Career and Professional Development regarding Handshake issues.
Assist employers, students, and staff with Handshake questions and issues.
Create and maintain resume books in Handshake and send to employers as needed.
Track calendar of events for all related groups - BBA CMC, BBA Program Office, Goizueta and Emory Alumni Associations, Academic Calendar, Graduate CMC.
Select, purchase, and manage inventory of CMC marketing materials, alumni and employer gifts, and other promotional items.

Responsible for all aspects of MBV student experience from matriculation through graduation to include all aspects of Emory University MBV student support and all university requirements of veterans prior to matriculation as students and post-graduation.
Supervises administrative personnel and/or student workers and has primary responsibility within the Program Office for all Emory University and GBS outreach, coordination, and support.
Plans, manages, and synchronizes program academic delivery, co-curricular, extra-curricular programming, and academic & non-academic student experiences.
Plans, administers, and monitors program budget and related accounts, financial policies, and expenses to include monthly income and expense reconciliation.
Ensures timely payment of all program invoices.
Creates and maintains academic calendar programs.
Works with all Emory University offices to ensure comprehensive university support of all MBV students.
Works with GBS Registrar's Office to develop annual class schedules, enrollment, degree clearance issues, and graduation.
Liaise with Accessibility Services to ensure student learning accommodation needs are met.
Represents Emory University, GBS, and the PO during periodic interactions with entities external to the university to include corporations, guest speakers, alumni, elements of the U.S. Department of War/Defense, and vendors.
Ensures all aspects of class delivery for faculty are coordinated, resourced/reserved, and confirmed prior to execution of each term and class session.
Coordinates student program functions such as registration, financial aid, and grade roll audits in conjunction with academic affairs for MBV students.
Works closely with GBS Admissions to seamlessly transition accepted applicants to matriculated students as part of onboarding.
Aids in resolution of student problems across all university entities.
Actively identifies student needs and works to build solutions into all aspects of future student support.
Develops and manages student handbooks, provides support to student groups and clubs, student calendar of social events, and serves as advisor to student leadership and student government initiatives.
Represents PO and leads planning for all graduation-related events to include the MBV program awards ceremony.
Creates, manages, executes, and analyzes all student surveys to include (but not limited to) assisting with post-graduation career outcomes survey, student exit/graduation surveys, and any surveys during the academic year.
Present at GBS while all classes and co-curricular activities are in session.
Supports broader, Emory-wide veterans initiatives and specific activities with veteran and/or military nexus.
Examples include planning, resourcing, and execution of student leadership reaction course participation for all incoming Master degree students at GBS.
Supports Emory University Veterans Week to include Emory-wide Veterans Day ceremony, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, VANAP, and VANAPGE student activities.
Supports Emory Healthcare veteran initiatives and liaison with the Emory Healthcare Veterans Project.
Coordinates budget planning and executive for all GBS executive coaching contracts.
Assists the Executive Director of Veterans Initiatives with outreach and coordination across Emory University.
Represents Emory University in various regional and national veteran focused higher education fora.
Performs other responsibilities in support of the broader university veteran population as directed by the Executive Director of Veterans Initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The position works autonomously with minimal supervision.
Interfaces with the Medical Director of Stroke and Medical Director of other various service lines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Five years experience as a Registered Nurse, with one in the area of concentration.
Minimum requirement of 2 years supervisory/manager experience in a healthcare setting.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required, ACLS preferred.
Maintains Certification, nationally in field of specialty.
Experience in teaching and/or clinical program development desired.
Must demonstrate ability to work well with patients/families, nursing, ancillary staff, and physicians.
