We are seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our prestigious Critical Care APP team at our newly expanded MSICU/CCU at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital.
We offer flexible scheduling options, including Daytime and Nocturnist roles. Typical full-time positions consist of 3 shifts per week, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
*Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), AND A. 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years, OR B. Recent completion of a re-entry nursing program. OR, 2. Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience within the past five years. *Exceptions: 1. *Current LPNs employed within the Emory Healthcare (EHC) system who have completed an accredited RN program and obtain RN licensure are eligible to transition into this role while completing the RN Resident Program. 2. Emory LPNs enrolled in an Emory ADN program as of 3/30/2025 must sign an obligation agreement to complete an ADN-to-BSN program within two years of entering the RN Clinician role.

Consistently, effectively and respectfully communicate with the patient, the patient's family, and other members of the healthcare team while delivering safe, dependable and effective care to a patient population independently utilizing the nursing process.

Documents the nursing process accurately and in the appropriate format (e.g. computer, clinical pathway, chart) as well as plan and implement patient care independently.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in cardiac nursing to join our dynamic 23-bed unit, specializing in the care of patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions. This includes advanced heart failure, pre and post interventional cardiology, managing vasoactive drips, left ventricular assist devices, and pacemaker placements. Additionally, the nurse will manage conditions such as COPD, GI bleeding, pneumonia, chest tubes, urinary tract infections, electrolyte imbalances, and liver/kidney disease. Furthermore, the nurse will be responsible for managing a wide range of therapies, including chest tubes, tracheostomies, pain and diabetic management, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and IV antibiotics. Must meet all Clinical Nurse Employee Commitments.
Achieves electives/points and contact hours as defined in the PLAN (clinical lattice) point system to maintain position.
Must complete UCN/SNM criteria requirements within nine (9) months of promotion or hire, including completion of Enhancing your Communication HLC#6488, completion of formal preceptor training workshop and enrollment in LEAP course.
