Description
We are seeking a highly motivated student tester to routinely test out new features under development in the GPSSample application. GPSSample is a free Android app for rapid assessments and household surveys that facilitates rapid statistical sampling in the field. It is a game-changer for the global health community! Spend up to 10 hours a week walking neighborhoods and testing all 4 roles as an administrator, supervisor, enumerator, and data collector.
We will provide the Android devices required. The tester will follow a closely designed standard operating testing procedure, identify any issues with newly enhanced features, and report these using the team's Jira site. You will use the full suite of GPSSample tools, including the GPSSample app, the GPSSample Decoder, and the Quarto Summary guide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Under direct or general supervision, performs a variety of tasks requiring limited independent judgment.

The Division of Animal Resources, within the Emory National Primate Research Center at Emory University Field Station (Lawrenceville, Georgia), is currently seeking Animal Care Trainees to join our team. Our work consists of providing husbandry and care for a large colony of nonhuman primates in an open campus-type setting. In addition to the husbandry and care duties and responsibilities, trainees are also trained to assist veterinary staff, colony management staff, and behavioral management staff. Once trained, Animal Care Trainees are assigned to an alternating weekend and holiday schedule.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, extremely dependable, reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a positive attitude and passion for animal care in a research environment. The Animal Care Trainee will be a team player who is willing to learn on the job and collaborate with coworkers and other departments at the facility. The Animal Care Trainee will work to ensure the highest quality of husbandry and care. Job Summary: The Population Health Collaborative Intern will support the strategic initiatives of Emory Healthcare's Population Health Collaborative (PHC). Develops and manages clinical nutrition and dietetic internship budget.

Coordinates rotations, including creating and managing schedules in clinical nutrition, food service, community and enrichment experiences at Emory Hospitals and a variety of other facilities.
Establishes a Dietetic Internship Advisory Committee to determine future trends in dietetics.
Promotes the national recognition of the Emory University Hospital Dietetic Internship through marketing, presentations, and attendance at national, regional, and local meetings.
Leads student recruitment, advisement, evaluation and counseling.
Facilitates the implementation of contractual agreements to support intern experiences at external sites.
Handles all reports, communication and tasks to maintain program accreditation.
Reviews rotation evaluations and ensures required competencies are met by each intern to support eligibility for a Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentialing exam.
Responsible for the following:
timely submission of fees
reports and requests for major program changes; maintenance of the program student records, including student advising plans and verification statements; maintenance of complaints about the program received from students or others, including disposition of the complaint; on-going review of program curriculum to meet the accreditation standards; communication and coordination with program faculty

The Utah DCC is seeking to hire up to four Biostatistics Interns. Each intern will have the opportunity to work with a group of biostatisticians and renowned clinical investigators to answer important questions impacting patient outcomes in cardiopulmonary resuscitation research. Interns will gain experience working in a multidisciplinary team, performing statistical programming (SAS or R), and communicating analysis results in both oral and written form. * Create analysis datasets and associated dataset specifications.

JOB SUMMARY

The School of Science and Technology is seeking interns to participate in software development for nonprofit partners beginning in Fall '24. During a three-month period, interns will collaborate with faculty to design, develop, test, and deploy software for a nonprofit organization client.

Makes appropriate use of available education materials. Resource to FNS staff for evaluation and recommendation of nutrition products and supplies. May serve on FNS/hospital wide committees.Effective time management in organizing workload and accomplishing tasks. Identifies problems, collects data, and takes corrective action for new and/or assigned performance improvement projects. Completes preceptor training. Precepts interns under supervision of mentor dietitian. Attends internship seminars/case studies regularly. Resource on nutrition to physician and allied health members. Completes at least 2 approved transplant related continuing education units annually. May participate in presentations to local organizations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 0 to 1 year (less than 2080 hours) of experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute care inpatient setting, long term care facility, long term acute care facility, rehabilitation facility, and/or outpatient nutrition program. Credentialed as a registered dietitian with CDR. Licensed in the state of Georgia as a licensed dietitian. If dietitian does not currently possess RD and/or LD credential, must obtain within 2 months of hire.

This role provides hands-on experience in sports media, public relations, and social media management, with a focus on FerryHawks home games. Interns will assist with media preparation, content creation, and real-time communication during games.
Responsibilities
Prepare and update team rosters and player information for each game.
Assist in creating and formatting game notes, stat packs, and other materials for media use.
Keep rosters and player bios current with stats and game updates.
Create content for the team's social media platforms, including live-tweeting during games and sharing timely updates.
Assist in writing and distributing game recaps, press releases, and other written materials.
Provide on-site support during home games, ensuring media personnel have the resources they need and all materials are prepared.
Support additional communications and media initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications / Skills
Currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic credit.
Strong writing skills, with experience in press releases, reports, or other professional communications.
Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Twitter, and experience in content creation or live coverage.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, particularly during games.
Passion for sports, especially baseball, and an interest in sports communications.
