Repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and other Empire line allied machines, systems, and components in the field. Prepare equipment for delivery. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and failures of machine and engines systems, and their components. Work in adverse weather conditions as needed. Accept all out-of-town assignments requiring extended overnight stays. Communicate orally and in writing information, instructions, and explanations to associates, clients and management regarding equipment conditions, problems, and recommendations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 6 months related experience.
2-year experience with MineStar Products, including, Fleet, Site Aware, Command, Terrain for grading, loading, and drilling troubleshooting.
Application knowledge of Trimble GNSS products and related technology.
Able to create and edit basic surface designs using CAD software.
Completion of TRAIN test evaluation.
Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

Job Description

We are currently seeking Service Technicians with experience working on conveyor systems whom will be part of a responsive team that help keep our customer's distribution centers located nationwide fully operational.
This position is available for the quality minded person that has the skill sets to address a variety of technical problems that may be encountered within an industrial automation facility. The position requires a person that can accommodate a flexible work schedule involving extensive traveling across the country, and someone who can address an emergency situation that at times, can include early morning hours.
The prime candidate will have worked with conveyor systems although candidates with maintenance and repair experience on other forms of industrial mechanical equipment will be seriously considered. The Service Technician must be able to read plans and wiring diagrams and have the ability to learn and use specialty tools and meters. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly, and in various forms with the customers, service crew leads and service Manager.
Higher level positions exist for those with extensive mechanical and electrical skills and have basic PLC and GDU knowledge. These higher-level positions are open to candidates with demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
Most importantly, all candidates must be convincing in his or her willingness to adhere to the safety requirements mandated by OSHA and all company safety policies.

What our Merchandise Stocker does:
* Responsible for learning and performing in-store service, managing inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generating weekly credits and providing exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high volume national account stores
* Cover service calls when regular service representatives are away or on vacation
* Full service 2-3 stores per day. Full service includes:
* CLEANING: Recovering the condition of the aisle since last service.
* STRAIGHTENING STOCK: Restocking messy bins or displays and resolving bin contamination.
* STOCKING: Packing out any freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous weeks order.
* CULLING: Removing damaged/unsellable material and issuing credit electronically.
* MERCHANDISING: Maintain signage and pricing to best practice. Move backers to affect perception.
* ORDERING: Replenish inventory according to published guidelines.
* CUSTOMER INTERACTION: Build strong dependable relationships with store management and associates.
* PROJECTS AND TASKS: Merchandising projects and tasks will be assigned by area manager.
* Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores

Position Description:
The Field Engineer (FE) works directly for the Superintendent and is expected to exercise judgment and discretion in making recommendations, implementing policies and procedures and handling a wide variety of matters in the field. The position is normally, but not necessarily preparatory to becoming an Office Engineer or Project Engineer. The primary purpose of the position is to proactively aid the Superintendent in front-line field management. In addition, the position requires a considerable amount of work, responsibility, persistence, problem solving ability and good attitude, because the FE is responsible for the majority of the layout on a project, supervision of trade workers and subcontractor employees, as well as lift drawings, safety, and quality control responsibilities. Although the majority of a Field Engineer's time will be spent in the field, there are some duties which will require work in the field office. This is a safety sensitive position.
Position Qualifications:
* A 4 -year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Strong communication skills.
* Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel-based templates, ProjectSight, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Past internships in the construction industry are preferred, but not required.
Essential Duties:
* Project layout (surveying) in conformance with design and contract documents.
* Check concrete forms for accuracy and adequacy of construction, including all embedded items, before placement of concrete.
* Perform production trend analysis for quantities of work in place and report for the weekly and monthly schedule and cost control reports.
* Assist with quality control, site safety initiatives and coordination of trade partners as delegated by the project superintendent. May include directing a small work force to gain supervisory experience.
* Coordinate material deliveries by checking material requirements in advance and comparing with the delivery status. Additionally, inspect materials delivered to the job for quantity, quality and condition, and report on missing and/or damaged items.
* Assist foremen and trade partners with interpretation of plans and specifications.
* Oversight of trade partners, as assigned, and direction of workforces (e.g., a labor crew) of employees or trade partner employees to gain supervisory experience.
* Participate in jobsite safety meetings, weekly safety audits, etc.
* Collaborate with the VDC team on VDC scope of work, execution plan and deliverables related to field operations. Review and navigate within the current 3D model viewing and scheduling software.

The Field Service Technical Engineer will provide technical support for the project site team. This is a hands-on position working closely with corporate IT, onsite project team members and 3rd party contractors.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, troubleshoot & repair hardware, software, & peripheral equipment
Assist/manage site-wide network setup and support
Assist with jobsite trailer mobilization and demobilization as required
Work with site team to proactively address and resolve service requests and/or to gather information necessary to resolve service requests.
Communicate with other IT team members to resolve issues and expedite work

Manage service tickets in IT ticketing system
