What you'll do As our new HR Employee Relations & Investigation Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for navigating sensitive and complex workplace situations. REQUIREMENTS You are an empathetic, objective, and resilient HR professional with a strong moral compass and a passion for creating a fair and positive work environment. * 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years focused specifically on employee relations and conducting complex workplace investigations. * In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws and regulations. * Proven ability to manage sensitive and highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to listen, build trust, and influence at all levels of the organization. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound, unbiased judgments in ambiguous situations. * A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. * Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, global technology or communications company is a strong plus. * HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) is highly desirable. Provide counseling and direction to employees, facilitate communication, and help recommend appropriate courses of action to resolve conflicts and issues effectively. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and other relevant legislation. Ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws and regulations. Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures. Create and share metrics related to employee relations to monitor trends and identify areas for improvement.
