The Part-Time Technology Project Employee, is a support position that will report to a KIPP NYC Tech Manager and provides daily support to KIPP NYC schools. While on site, the Part-Time Technology Project Employee will take direction from designated lead IT Associate as well as other Tech project leads. The Part-Time Technology Project Employee will be responsible for resolving end-user technical support requests related to laptops, desktops, and software across KIPP NYC Schools, with an emphasis on supporting key schools. Additionally the Part-Time Technology Project Employee will assist as needed with project implementation such as new staff onboarding, new school start-up, new equipment preparation, and working with data to drive forward Tech projects and initiatives. The Boeing Company's Product System Training (PST) organization is currently seeking **Senior Employee Development Specialists** to join their team in Huntsville, AL.

The qualified specialists will be team players that provide instructor-led training covering a broad range of initial trainings and re-certifications.
Initial Training and Recertification will include, but is not limited to:

+ Bond and Ground

+ Electrical and Electronics

+ Mechanical

+ Sealing/Sealants

+ Processing/Finishes

+ Manufacturing Documents and Processes

+ Informal training, on-the-job training (OJT) or Consulting

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Provide workplace coaching with production and/or aircraft maintenance

+ Lead Industrial Skills Guided Practice or Bench Activities

+ Cross train other instructors

+ Facilitate new hire online training and support

+ Use My Learning to verify students have the required prerequisites prior to attending training

+ Coordinate with Boeing to verify students have required applications and qualifications applicable to training (Redars, PSDS, medicals, etc.)

+ Identify and notify course owner of errors in course or testing materials

+ Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of root cause analysis, corrective action, and training related audit activities

+ 3+ years of experience constructing wire harnesses and panels by cutting, sorting, color-coding, measuring, stripping, crimping, soldering, and routing various lengths, types, and gauges of wire, heat-shrink, and other related materials

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**

+ Current NASA 8739 Certified Instructor Trainer qualification

+ Current IPC J-STD Certified Instructor Trainer qualification

+ Current formal instructor certification as an instructor, Senior instructor, or Master instructor

+ 3+ years of experience as an instructor teaching subject matter in an adult classroom environment

+ 1+ years of experience with Boeing technical specifications
