It’s been a while since we shone the spotlight on one of our recruiters. And we certainly have never profiled any recruiters from Greenville, South Carolina. So we\u00a0decided to catch up with Heather Larkin<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0one of our awesome new recruiters from SC.<\/p>\n

Heather\u00a0is the very model of a successful new ‘Looper’ (that’s how we refer to members of the RecruitLoop recruiter community). She’s attended our weekly open Community Q&A events, and been matched with a RecruitMentor. Her mentor had great things to say about Heather’s fit for the Looper community, and predicts that her specialities in Auto and Mechanical Engineering will make her a very in-demand recruiter!<\/p>\n

Like most Loopers, she has some fun stuff going on in her life.<\/p>\n

We are asked her to share some of her thoughts about RecruitLoop and life in general …<\/p>\n

What were you doing before you met us?<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Recruiting, recruiting… I’ve been recruiting for clients remotely for 10 years; and I’ve been recruiting for a\u00a0total 20 years. Gosh that’s 2 whole decades! Where did those years go?<\/p>\n

What is the best part, for you, of being a Looper?<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

We have the same idea of where recruiting is going. I think the RecruitLoop models works well because recruiting is cyclical, and the RecruitLoop difference allows companies to utilize a lower cost recruiting solution.<\/p>\n

What is your funniest RecruitLoop moment?<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

On my first weekly Community Q&A call, my phone accidentally launched my camera, and everyone got to see me for the first time wearing no makeup and in yoga pants… Talk about a Looper Blooper<\/em>!<\/p>\n

What 5 words would your clients use to describe you?<\/em><\/h3>\n

Communicative. Responsive. Dedicated. Approachable. Efficient.<\/p>\n

What RecruitLoop feature do you think is the most awesome?<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

What is something other Loopers may not know about you?<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

I am more competitive than I seem. Outside of work my passions and interests include my 2 boys, a joy of wine (preferably white), exercising, reading food labels, and my Goldendoodle.<\/p>\n

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

I would want to eliminate bullying.<\/p>\n

If you could have dinner with five famous people (alive or dead) who would they be and why?<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

The first two are family members who have since passed away. I would enjoy getting 1 more meal with them to hear their wisdom, especially in the world today. I would so love to have dinner with Robyn O’Brien, the woman standing up against GMO’s. The next two I would choose for my boys. For Drew I’d invite Lionel Messi and for Zachary, I’d invite Jabrill Peppers from the U of M Wolverines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
