The Employment Consultant II is responsible for helping people with disabilities obtain and maintain successful employment. This position will: assist with the recruitment of individuals with disabilities seeking employment; assess the vocational supports and preferences needed for success; establish a person-centered employment plan; coordinate employment opportunities between individuals with disabilities and employers; provide on-site job retention services to ensure training and workplace accommodations are in place to support successful job retention; provide pre-employment training.
Role Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, communications, marketing, human resources or related field and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience

OR Associate's Degree in a related field and six (6) years of experience working with adults with disabilities in an employment setting

OR High School Diploma/GED with eight (8) years of experience working with adults with disabilities

Experience assessing and documenting workplace accommodations and supports o Experience in employment outreach/recruitment activities

Experience in employment outreach/recruitment activities

Additional Requirement:

Must possess a valid driver's license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under corporate policy.

Physcial Requirements

While performing this job's duties, the team member will be required to travel to various community sites and events. The team member will be required to provide oral presentations to small and large audiences. The team member will be required to operate computer equipment and other basic office equipment. The team member may assist with diffusing stressful situations in the workplace using approved conflict resolution techniques. May occasionally be required to lift up to 20 lbs.
