His first 10+ years in leading new and emerging media at Empower set a foundation for the last 10+ years as CEO where we have achieved record-breaking revenue growth YOY, created new capabilities with the addition of Digital, Word-of-Mouth Marketing and Creative while earning prestigious industry titles including MediaPost’s Media Agency of the Year and most recently Ad Age’s Agency A-List Standout - the first Cincinnati-based agency to ever receive this national recognition.

But Price is more than just a media visionary. He’s an engineer of trust - responsible for spearheading the industry’s first fully transparent programmatic buying solution, ClearTrade® He is also very active in his community, both serving as a Board member and mentor with the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative. He is also on the Board of Trustees for ArtsWave, Board of Directors for REDI Cincinnati, sits on the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber Board and is the past Board President for Starfire Council.

Prior to the CIO role, Shaffner led marketing and media for many iconic brands including Ashley HomeStore, Meijer, Rust-Oleum, Sharpie, PaperMate and Expo.

Ryan leads one of the industry’s top performing media teams. He drives performance-focused creativity and innovation across the Media Planning, Intelligence, and Technology teams. Ryan built the industry’s first fully transparent programmatic planning and buying solution, ClearTrade®, the next evolution of the fragmented agency trading desk model of the late 2000s. A self-proclaimed “data geek” and lifelong technology enthusiast, Ryan has a passion for innovating on the fringe and letting numbers prove what works. His experience includes Ashley HomeStore, GNC, Rust-Oleum, P&G, PetSmart, Famous Footwear, Michaels, and Sharpie.

This “numbers” guy is also a creative thinker, constantly encouraging fresh thinking throughout the company. Joe motivates people to come up with ideas that not only contribute to Empower’s ongoing growth and success but also that help build our clients’ business. His team monitors and measures Empower’s performance on behalf of our clients so the entire agency is aware of the company’s impact. Prior to Empower, Joe worked at Deloitte Touche and Kao Brands and has a Master’s in business from Xavier University.

Rob Fitzgerald

President/COO

Born and raised in England, FitzGerald has worked across the globe and in all aspects of agency business including strategy, social media, creative, media, and operations. He’s held senior roles at global agency giants, serving as president of OMD in China and managing director of Initiative in Tokyo. For the last 13 years, he’s been immersed in the U.S. ad scene, leading a number of agencies both big and small.

Since joining the Empower family, Rob has been a key player in expanding our Creative Media capabilities and reimagining how Empower can drive results for our clients. An industry veteran, Rob has experience working with a wide range of iconic brands. Examples include: Diageo, Heineken, Dos Equis, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s Bermuda Department of Tourism, Disney Parks, Cartier, and JetBlue Airways. Adidas and Puma Revlon, Kao, P&G, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson T-Mobile and Verizon Jeep and Chrysler.
