Michael P. Gianoni
Blackbaud

As president and CEO of Blackbaud (BLKB), the world’s leading cloud software company powering social good, I’m focused on delivering unmatched value and innovation to organizations and individual change agents that build a better world. I believe success stems from: • Putting customers at the center of everything we do -- every day. • Fostering an inclusive, purpose-focused culture for our team -- where every voice matters. We have recently been listed as the 18th largest Cloud applications company worldwide by IDC, and we are powering the digital transformation of the social good community through purpose-built, comprehensive cloud solutions that drive impact and outcomes for our customers. Every day I’m energized to see the results of our software, services, data intelligence, and expertise in addressing the unique needs of our millions of users in 60 countries -- including nonprofits, foundations, faith based institutions, companies, education institutions, healthcare organizations, and the individual change agents who support them. I’m especially proud to lead an organization that holds spots on Forbes’ lists for best employers for diversity and best employers for women. And while Blackbaud already produces significant social good thought leadership we have exciting work ahead with our new Blackbaud Institute Advisory Board to take that conversation to new heights and new potential for all we serve. In conjunction with leading Blackbaud, I also serve on public and mission-based boards, including the Clemson University President’s Advisory Board, Teradata, and the International African American Museum Board. I'm passionate about advocating for innovation in the tech sector that can help good take over.

Prior to that, he spent two decades in senior leadership roles at Microsoft, VMware and EMC Corp. As a “global citizen,” Sanjay’s move to Commvault’s New Jersey headquarters is a return to his roots. He has family in the New Jersey area and is on the board of directors at Drew University, his alma mater. In addition to his board role at Drew, where he studied computer science and math, he serves on the boards of Datameer, Portland Center Stage and Puppet.
