EN Engineering CEO and leadership

With more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, Steve is a proven leader and expert in project delivery. He joined EN Engineering in 2016 after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Wood Group Mustang, Inc. During his tenure there, he was responsible for significantly increasing the company’s geographic footprint, employee base, and revenues.

Steve held a variety of leadership roles at Wood Group Mustang including business unit leader and chief operating officer, and has also worked as a project engineer and project manager for Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. He began his career as an offshore construction engineer with Chevron USA.

With a long family history in the Boy Scouts of America, Steve, his father, his brothers, and his son all earned the prestigious Eagle Scout award. Steve will soon earn his private pilot’s license, and in his free time he enjoys watching football and playing golf. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University and attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Mitch Hulet is a Chief Operating Officer at EN Engineering and is based in United States.

Benjamin Newman is a Vice President of Corporate Development at EN Engineering and Chief of Strategy & Corporate Development at EN Engineering and is based in Warrenville, Illinois. He has worked as Senior Associate - Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory at Duff & Phelps and Vice President at BLUE POINT CAPITAL PARTNERS. Benjamin attended KELLOGG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT between 2014 and 2016 and University of Illinois Urbana Champaign between 2001 and 2005.

Dave leads the design team, with responsibility for quality, execution, and resources. With more than 25 years of industry experience, he has specialized in designing systems for the transmission, distribution and storage of natural gas. His number one goal is to provide exceptional service and work alongside clients as an extension of their team.

Prior to joining EN Engineering, Dave worked for Enron, Kinder Morgan, CalNev Pipeline and Nicor Gas in various engineering and manager roles. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from The University of Chicago. An avid Bears fan, on Sundays during football season Dave proudly takes tailgating to new heights by engineering new recipes and sampling premium beers.

Dave Takash is a Chief Sales Officer at EN Engineering and is based in Roswell, Georgia. He has worked as Vice President - North America Sales at Siemens Gamesa, Marketing Representative at Westinghouse Electric Co., and Vice President at Darren Worley. Dave attended Texas First Bank between 1982 and 1986 and GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECH between 1986 and 1991.

Ed Czekaj is a Chief Financial Officer at EN Engineering.

Michael Simpson is a Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) at EN Engineering and Head of Learning and Development/Regional Director - North America at ThyssenKrupp Regional HQ and is based in Park Ridge, Illinois. He has worked as Vice President Human Resources/Organizational Development Consulting at Development Institute; Global VP Human Resources (2004-2005), VP Head of N.A. HR/OD (1998-2004), Director HR (1995-1998) at Kantar; and Vice President at Human Resources and Organizational Development. Michael attended University of Illinois at Chicago and Northern Illinois University between 2014 and 2014.
