Operator Job in Encinal, TX
Transfers dry bulk products; frac sand, proppants, and other products; to/from railcars and trucks in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining facility and equipment used.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Resposibilities:
Unloads/loads railcars; to include non-bulk items. Operates all equipment related to transload operation which includes but is not limited to: mobile conveyers, generators, portable light sets, lite duty vehicles, tractors, railcar/gate openers, forklifts, and loaders. Operates portable hand tools; power and non-power, in accordance with all safety and operating rules. Starts, stops, and operates engines and portable pumps in accordance with all safety and operation rules. Performs general maintenance of all equipment used in transload operations, reporting any deficiencies that require further maintenance. Communicates with team members to control and direct transload activities. Observes, interprets and relays verbal and non-verbal communications; radio, phone, hand signals, lantern signals, switch target indicators, flags, and lights. Conducts all written and verbal reporting in a timely and accurate manner. Complies with all company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment, responding to safety concerns and taking appropriate action when needed. Takes an active role in safety programs including attendance to all safety meetings and ensures safe behaviors of self and coworkers. Performs general housekeeping and cleaning. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills N/A Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid state issued driver's license. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a good attitude.
