POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Early Education Manager, the Early Education Coordinator is part of the Education team and supports the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of early childhood education, curriculum implementation and ensuring that the program is meeting its school readiness goals for all CFDP early education programs (EHS/HS/CSPP). This position will work with content area managers/coordinators to assist with planning, implementing, and monitoring of services to children and families. Position supports compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, CSPP requirements and Community Childcare Licensing requirements.
Position is regular full-time, Exempt and year-round. Annual salary range is $66,000 - $68,120 (dependent on qualifications/ experience) plus pay differential for bilingual skills awarded upon qualification.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
With Early Education Manager ensures compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Title 5 and Title 22 requirements and all applicable laws and regulations.
Back-up to Early Education Manager with Community Childcare Licensing Agency. Updates Emergency/Disaster Plans, personnel rosters, facility rosters, “To Be Posted” packets and Designation of Responsibility form. Supports and reviews Site Supervisors with Unusual Incident Reports.
Curriculum Monitoring: Review weekly curriculum plans for quality. ensure they are up-to-date and uploaded into ChildPlus
Conducts observations related to effective teaching strategies, curriculum to fidelity, quality environments, and teacher/child interactions (CLASS, ITERS/ECERS, Teaching Pyramid, Fidelity Tools, etc.) and provides feedback to center and home base staff.
Oversee/monitor the implementation and collection of the CSPP Parent DRDP annual Surveys. Ensure that Action Plan Summaries are completed according to timeline.
Ensure that all Head Start centers submit their Improvement Action Plans for the DRDP, DRDP Parent Surveys, ECERS and CLASS Summaries according to timeline.
Support with State CSPP Self-Assessment, Funding Application and required reports
Provide input and solutions to develop and/or revise Early Education systems and policies and procedures as appropriate.
Implements and oversees annual education activities/projects, i.e. staff Check-in/Check-out procedures, education form files and materials, spend out, etc.
Using the Learning Genie application to provide parents with activities that support parent/child relationships and child development including language, dual language, literacy, science, math, cognitive, and bi-literacy development.
Assists in developing Early Head Start, Head Start, and Kindergarten Transition plans and supports with the implementation of the plans.
Provide oral and written translation (English to Spanish or Spanish to English) as assigned.
Responsible for Education Component training and meeting logistics. Supports program-wide meetings, workshops and training logistics as assigned.
Produce and submit regular monthly reports and other reports as directed, including data analysis. Input education services into Head Start specific software program, produce reports as needed.
Compile reports, develop forms, and carry out research projects as requested.
Responsible for clerical tasks, filing, copying, typing correspondence and reports.
Assists with recruitment activities and events as assigned.
This position is part of the center coverage plan and will support with coverage in the classroom as needed.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three plus years' experience working with young children (0-5) and their families, in a licensed program (Head Start/Early Head Start experience a plus).
Experience mentoring, training, or in a leadership role.
Experience with electronic record keeping systems and reporting.
Experience working with diverse populations.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Kitchen Coordinator will work within Si Se Puede's therapeutic environment with the program residents, who are healing from lived experience with substance use and may also struggle with mental health disorders, and a past history of contact with the criminal justice system. Services will be delivered with dignity and respect for each individual resident.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Menu Planning/Meal Preparation - Plan and cook nutritious, good tasting meals for residents. Incorporate food donations into menu planning. Provide weekly menus and post them in advance.
Food Inventory - Solicit and organize pickup of food donations from local sources. Provide a consistent schedule for donation pickup convenient to the donor and program schedule.
Shop for and maintain an adequate inventory of food staples, kitchen supplies, paper goods and cleaning supplies. Remain within budget. Review expenses with manager regularly.

JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an early childhood professional who enjoys working in the classroom while serving children and families in Santa Cruz County. The Head Start (HS) Teacher Director oversees day-to-day operations of classroom services that provide high-quality learning environments through center-based programs. Position is regular, full-time with placement in North County. Position works part-year (late July - mid-April

week in May). Position works with children ages 3-5 years of age. Salary is $28.54 - $34.78 per hour, dependent on education and experience. Hourly pay differential for bilingual skills awarded upon qualification.
As center team leader, the Teacher-Director promotes interdisciplinary service strategies, which address the needs of Head Start clients. This includes making provisions for parent participation in the educational activities of the program to enhance their role as the principal influence on the child's education and development. The Teacher-Director implements the curriculum, ensuring individualization to meet the different needs of children as well as ensure the adequate supervision of children to ensure safety while in the program. The Teacher Director is the point person for licensing visits, and provides guidance and support to center team staff and parents when needs or concerns arise.
Ensures accurate, up-to-date record keeping/documentation within required deadlines
Plans and coordinate class activities with staff team, and act as a liaison with other managers and sites
Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills; seek assistance when needed; exercise discretion when speaking of clients and colleagues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Have an AS/AA degree (required) or BA/BS or advanced degree (preferred) in child development or ECE OR
Have an AS/AA, or BA/BS, or advanced degree in a related field with coursework equivalent to a major relating to ECE and experience teaching preschool children OR
Have a BA/BS or advanced degree and is (or was) admitted into Teach for America Program.

Minimally 15 college units & 4 years teaching experience in a licensed program
3 of the units in Admin/Supervision

El Dorado Center is a 16-bed short-term residential treatment program for individuals with mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse issues. The primary goal of the program is to assist individuals stepping down from locked treatment or locked placement and facilitate those individuals re-entry and transition back into the community.
Job Summary:
We currently have a full-time Mental Health Counselor position at El Dorado Center. The role of the Counselor is to provide support and assistance to clients in planning and attaining their goals. Special focus will be on the client's needs related to the housing, physical health, issues of chemical dependency and mental health, stabilization of income, and reentry back into the community. The Residential Counselor will be expected to demonstrate an increased skill level and leadership qualities, and role model positive work habits and act as Manager in Manager's absence. The Counselor will be responsible for supervising, facilitating and scheduling groups and will have the knowledge and ability to make independent decisions and will be on-call after hours and on weekends to deal with crises at the program. Services will be delivered with dignity and respect for each individual resident.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide clinical services including, case management, group counseling and assist to clients in crisis situations.
Supervise and provide support to staff: workloads, trainings, development plans, performance evaluations, ensure clear lines of responsibility.
Establish a close working relationship with residents in the program.
Perform clinical duties, which will include individual counseling and facilitating house meetings and groups.Assist clients in crisis situations.
Supervise daily activities of clients, including performing support services that assist clients in everyday living skills.This may include supervision of clients' chores, monitoring mealtime activities, conducting social and recreational activities, etc.
Complete intake, assessment and evaluation paperwork with clients.
Monitor and track client's use of medications; conduct client urine tests.
Transport clients to appointments as necessary.
Communicate with case managers and other service providers about client status.
Maintain a safe, clean and sober environment.
Maintain clinical charts and complete required paperwork in a timely manner as required by the County, State, and component guidelines.
Participate in the effort to keep the facility clean, well maintained and running smoothly. This may include household duties such as shopping for supplies, laundry and cleaning.
Provide on-call after hours every other weekend and during manager's time-off.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field preferred
