Project Controls Manager Responsibilities:
Lead schedule reviews with partners and vendors; challenge logic, durations, and progress claims.
Capture lessons learned, improve templates, and checklists.
Support contracting strategies (deliverables, milestones, reporting) and readiness for significant events (IFD/IFC, PO placement, and module shipment).
Coordinate handoffs across Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Logistics to resolve interface risks early.
Maintain risk/issue registers and ensure mitigations are reflected in plans and forecasts.
Produce weekly dashboards and management reviews with clear variance narratives and trend analysis.
Build and maintain a fully logic-linked, resource-aware master schedule in MS Project covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics, construction, and commissioning.
Run change control and quantify schedule/cost impacts with auditable logs.
Align logistics milestones (Incoterms, carrier bookings, permits, customs, laydown/warehouse) with the master schedule.
Collect, clean, reconcile, and organize data from internal teams and vendors (deliverables lists, RFIs, equipment lists/MTOs, expediting, FAT/SAT, shipment readiness).
Set up WBS/CBS, calendars, codes, and progress rules of credit; establish and manage baselines.
Support cost control in Excel (budgets, commitments, forecasts, contingencies) and deliver monthly cost/schedule reports.

Logistics experience (heavy haul, modules, packaged equipment, international shipments, customs/permits, laydown planning) is preferred.
Syngas/industrial gas or related process-plant experience is preferred.
Exposure to risk analysis and stage-gate processes is preferred.
Familiarity with tools like SharePoint/OneDrive, ERP, Power BI, or Primavera P6 literacy is preferred.
Cost estimating experience is preferred.

We are seeking a talented Instrumentation and Controls ProjectManager to join our construction management team in our Cartersville, GA project site. Assume primary responsibility for activities associated with specific trades on assigned construction sites
Lead assigned vendors and subcontractors
Ensure achievement of safety objectives on assigned projects
Interact with clients at the site on assigned projects and promote positive relationships
Assist in the development and maintenance of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans
Support the Construction Manager in the development and maintenance of project schedules, including targeted and actual activity lists, durations, and sequencing logic
Develop a working knowledge of the project budget for assigned trades and identify exceptions to the project budget throughout the execution of the project
Assist in the development of change control documentation and related financial documentation
Work with the ProjectManager and Construction Manager to conduct pre-bid walk-through and descope meetings
Manage subcontractor and vendor change requests
Evaluate the legitimacy of the request in terms of contractual requirements and the validity of cost estimates
Complete job safety analysis documentation and other safety documentation as required by the corporate safety program
Assist the Construction Manager and Document Control to ensure that all submittals are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet project and corporate requirements
Review submittals as necessary to meet project requirements
Support the ProjectManager and Construction Manager in ensuring compliance of project activities with legal and regulatory requirements
Oversees startup activities of assigned trades if included in the project scope
Oversees commissioning activities of assigned trades if included in the project scope
Relevant site safety qualifications (NEEBOSH, SMSTS, etc.)

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel, Visio, and preferred.
* Proficiency in projectmanagement software, specifically SmartSheet preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* PMP or other relevant certification is a plus.

What You'll Do:
Serves as Construction ProjectManager on public works or architectural projects.
Prepare project engineering budgets. Responsible for monitoring status throughout construction. Perform project billing as may be directed.
Provide daily supervision of all assigned field staff.
Review shop drawings and submittals. Coordinate technical review with design engineers and assist as required.
Evaluate the work being done on a daily basis.
Responsible for all communication/correspondence between all controlling agencies, clients, engineers and contractors.
Schedule and run pre-construction and job meetings, preparing meeting minutes as required and distribute to all parties.
Evaluate Contractor issues relative to interpretation of plans and specifications and coordinate the efforts to resolve the matters with ProjectManager, City Engineer or Department Manager.
Recommend acceptance or rejection of work (in whole or in part) due to compliance or non-compliance with the plans and specifications.
Provide review and processing of Owner/Contractors' design change requests.
Analyze extra work costs to assure a fair and reasonable price and, if needed, negotiate with contractor as needed.
What You Bring:
7+ years experience in construction or contracting.
Possession of a bachelor's or associate degree in civil engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or Construction
PE is required
Demonstrated projectmanagement and business development.
