• Ensure all parties to the job (at all levels of the job) apply their time into the proper phase code for time keeping
Customer Service
• Take responsibility for submittals
• Assist with submittal creation and procurement of material
• Make certain purchase orders and Subcontracts are written and that the project is current on change orders to the purchase orders
• Coordinate and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders
• Ensure proper maintenance of construction documents
• Actively engage in any required meetings
• Ensure the proper permit is obtained in the jurisdiction for the job location. Understand the permitting process and what the wiring methods are in different jurisdiction
• Responsible for project closeout documentation
• Prior to completion, involves the service department so they know the job and are introduced to the owner to maintain the relationship
• Assist closing out the job with vendors

Supervision (collaborate with Superintendents to assist with the following):
Coordinate with Site Superintendents
Create and assist Superintendent in tracking completion of punch list and warranty work.
Knowledge and Experience:
Four-year Construction Management degree required.
Three years' experience as a ProjectEngineer.
Knowledge of project management principles for building construction; theory, principles and practices of engineering and architecture related to design and construction.
Knowledge of fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineering systems.
Knowledge of all applicable local and international codes.
Skills and Abilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical support for installation and commissioning of new equipment or automation
upgrades, for various locations including Denver, CO and Northwood, IA.
Develop and maintain training materials for electrical and controls development and assist in
onboarding or mentoring of junior technicians.
Adhere to all plant safety policies and participate in safety improvement efforts related to controls and automation.
Requirements
SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
3+ years of hands-on experience in automation, controls, or electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of PLC logic and troubleshooting (Beckhoff preferred; Allen-Bradley a plus).
Experience reading and modifying electrical schematics, ladder logic, and panel layouts.
