Overview The Analyst, Quality Assurance & CASS evaluates the performance and effectiveness of the Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP), identifying risks in accordance with established Quality and Safety Management System processes (SMS). The Analyst, Quality Assurance & CASS functions as the administrator for the GMM Change Request process and Committee (CRC), and coordinates with the applicable Tech Ops departments in developing the monthly Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) report. Responsibilities * Continuous monitoring of the Safety Management System inputs in accordance with established processes to identify risk trending associated with the operation. * Interface with all applicable Tech Ops departments with collecting and developing the monthly CASS report, scheduling the meetings, and assisting the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance and CASS during presentation of the monthly meetings. * Coordinate with all applicable Tech Ops departments with managing GMM / Form change requests, updating the Change Request status database, coordinate with owners to ensure timely approval, develop the Change Request Committee (CRC) agenda, schedule the CRC meetings, and coordinate with Safety in developing draft revisions to present for final manager approval. * Create dynamic presentations and communicate complex data to leadership. * Additional duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance and CASS Other Duties * May be required to assist with unanticipated departmental tasks or projects. Physical Requirements Candidate height must not exceed 5'11½" or 71.5 inches when measured without shoes (with flat feet) due to the size of our aircraft. Ability to reach a minimum of 6'3" or 76 inches when measured without shoes, from flat feet to fingertips. Sit in an assigned jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without a seatbelt extension. Jumpseat is 21” at the widest part of the seat. Open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds and ability to push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force. Hear and respond to customer and crew communications in situations with high background noise. Work in aircraft aisles and galleys, and while standing, reaching (extended in front and to the side of the body and above the head), walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and working in cramped or awkward positions. Walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward and fit quickly through any exit. Sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to reach into overhead bins and retrieve stored items. Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces and manage potential allergens such as nuts, perfumes, cleaning solvents, fumes, animals, and pet dander. In this role, you will serve as part of the crew that helps maintain the proper and safe functioning of Delta's fleet, ensuring customers have an exceptional travel experience. ASMs work independently or as a team to accomplish tasks, and may assist Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) in technical or non-technical functions related to aircraft interiors (or other areas as needed). This position is the perfect entry-level mechanic position. Work tasks are physical and include bending, lifting, standing, and walking. Work tasks are repetitive, such as loading and stacking bags weighing up to 50-70 pounds. At times, these tasks will be completed in harsh weather conditions (heat, rain, snow). We practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Some of your daily tasks include: + Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, in addition to being responsible for timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions. + Safeguard Cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather. + Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. + Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. Scheduling is based on operational needs. Shifts range from early morning to overnight. Each station is different based on its individual flight schedule.
