The candidate will primarily perform these services in the operating room or in radiology and will take their share of in-house and pager calls.

There is no expectation to contribute to the research missions of the University.

He/she will examine the patient before and after anesthesia, write pre- and post-anesthesia orders, confirm that the patient is ready for anesthesia before induction, manage the anesthetic period, and follow the patient for as long as is appropriate in the post-anesthesia period. The scope of anesthesia for this position includes most pediatric subspecialities including but not limited to pediatric surgery, ENT (including craniofacial), urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, gastroenterology, and acute pain.
