Job Summary:
MyAdvisor is working with the VA to provide Disability Evaluations to Veterans regarding TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) claims. We are looking to partner with consultants (on a 1099 basis) to complete these exams which must be done in person.
These exams are one-time appointments that involve no treatment, follow-up exams and/or writing of prescriptions. Depending on the specialty exam required these exams can take around 60 minutes. Focus will be placed on TBI exams. Appointments are scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days ahead of time.
Job Specifications:
Complete psychiatric examination. Services provided include: review of medical records, prior to examination, conduct history and examination, and interpret all clinical data.
Provide a signed examination report. Report to include corroborating histories, physical findings, results of all diagnostic tests performed and diagnoses completed as required by the associated Disability Benefits Questionnaire(s) (DBQs).
Conduct individual evaluations, up to 10 per day; 60 minutes each
Submit signed report package upon completion.

The role:
We are looking for a licensed Telemedicine Neurologist to support our mission to radically improve access to high-quality brain health and dementia care! In this role, you will function as a collaborating supervisor for our Neurology Nurse Practitioners and other clinicians in applicable states.
This position is a full-time W2 or 1099 independent contract role.
Who you are:
Hold an active MD/DO license in good standing in PA
National ABPN Board Certification in Neurology
Fellowship training and/or strong clinical background in evaluating and managing patients with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders or other cognitive-behavioral disorders preferred
Minimum of 2+ years' clinical experience
Maintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing and implementing outcome-focused care
Empathetic, active, and intuitive listening
Strong verbal and written communication
Knowledgeable in crisis response
Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment
Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various systems and tools with ease (this includes, but is not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, proprietary EMR, etc.); able to provide own personal computer/laptop that meets security and telehealth standards

Ensure the most beneficial level of treatment is implemented for our patients
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary Isaac team and conduct patient chart audits on a monthly basis
Responsible for conducting a minimum of five chart audits per month per nurse practitioner or other clinician that you are supervising
