An energy audit advisor helps residential and commercial property owners ensure that their energy systems are running smoothly and efficiently. They perform various auditing responsibilities, such as gathering and analyzing data, conducting research, performing tests on energy systems, and inspecting facilities or equipment.

From their analysis and research, audit advisors identify opportunities for energy savings and create accurate audit reports. They develop plans and strategies that help establishments maintain or increase their energy-efficiency, ultimately helping homeowners or commercial property owners save money on energy.

If you want to pursue an energy audit advisor's career, a bachelor's degree can be of great advantage but is not a strict requirement.
