Support the Emergency Preparedness (EP) function by preparing and conducting Emergency Response Organization (ERO) program administration, training, and evaluation including drills/exercises, maintaining a cordial interface with internal and external organizations, developing and conducting training and evaluating ERO members as assigned, and maintaining EP related documents and facilities in a current state of readiness.

Perform administrative functions which may include addressing and managing corrective action process assignments and maintaining EP-related documents and facilities in a current state of readiness.
Develop and conduct initial and advanced emergency preparedness training for assigned areas of responsibility, including the development of training materials consistent with a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
Conduct emergency drills and exercises as a controller/evaluator for assigned emergency center(s). Ensure individual and organizational improvement areas are identified using a thorough critique process. Implement actions as required to improve performance.
Perform assigned EP functions (e.g., emergency center readiness evaluations, on-call emergency planner duties, self-assessments, and benchmarking activities).
Incumbents may be assigned specific areas of focus that will result in varying time allocations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a Business Administration, Physical Science, Emergency Management, or Engineering related field from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in one or more of the following areas: nuclear plant operations, operations training, engineering, health physics, nuclear security leadership or emergency preparedness;
OR an Associate's degree in a training, emergency management, or technical field from an accredited college or university and ten years of experience in one or more of the following areas: nuclear plant operations, operations training, engineering, health physics, nuclear security leadership or emergency preparedness;
OR a high school diploma or GED and twelve years of experience in one or more of the following areas: nuclear plant operations, operations training, engineering, health physics, nuclear security leadership or emergency preparedness.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Metrics Provision: Provide metrics as requested in the areas (Procedures/Documents/Records).
External Agency Interface: Interface with outside agencies (e.g., Washington State and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission) in the conduct of day-to-day work as well as special assessments and inspections.

The Supervisory Case Processing Specialists provides guidance and oversight in the processing of cases, immigration records management, and document preparation process for ICE Personnel. Works under the general direction of ICE field office personnel.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Case Processing Specialist in processing cases and performing all peripheral activities, immigration records management, and document preparation.
Direct the preparation, review and management of case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation.
Ensure Alien Files (A-files) and ICE systems reflect a case status that is updated, accurate, and complete.
Ensure case processing staff maintain and update electronic and paper-based case files, ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws, DHS policies, and federal data security requirements.
Retrieve, compile, and organize county, state, and federal court records, conviction documents, and supporting case materials from multiple databases, and other government sources.
Maintain up-to-date case status records, court scheduling details, and case tracking logs.
Ensure the generation of case status reports and monitoring dashboards.
Assist with docket coordination with EOIR and USCIS. Coordinate with ICE officers to facilitate interviews, hearings, removals, and case updates.
Review appropriate paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure all administrative applications are reviewed, A-files are updated, and docket officers timely notified for appropriate law enforcement action.
Track compliance with release conditions and report violations, as applicable.
Assist ICE Office of Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) in obtaining criminal history checks and other supporting documentation as needed prior to court.
Assist ICE personnel with scheduling and coordinating interviews between detainees and ICE officers, consulates, and legal representatives, as assigned.
Direct the organization and preparation of removal documents and coordinates with ICE personnel for scheduling removal and staging flights. Ensure all documentation is prepared and accurate.
Direct the work of other employees. This includes selection, hiring, evaluating job performance, employee training/development, promoting and any disciplinary action, including termination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree from an accredited institution or one year of directly related industry experience required.
Experience and/or training related to reviewing law enforcement documentation such detention files, custodial records, or immigration case files including A-files and DHS databases, or previous experience conducting interviews for immigration or detention related purposes required.
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
Demonstrated experience to function in a supervisory capacity.
