Description
Experience with automation for Physical Design, for block execution and experience in automation using tcl and/or python.
Work multi-functionally with CAD/Physical Verification/Electrical analysis and PnR Teams to ensure strong and drc clean power grid.
Develop features and methodology solutions to be used by wide range of SOC partitions.
Collaborate with technology teams for node evaluations, global PD engineers, and physical verification and electrical analysis teams.
Resolve design and flow issues related to physical design, identify potential solutions, and drive execution.
Work with the cross functional teams to drive methodologies and “best known methods” to streamline physical design work. Come up with guidelines and checklists, drive flow development and deployment.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Familiar with aspects of ASIC integration including floorplanning, clock and power distribution, global signal planning, I/O planning, and hard IP integration.
Experience with scripting and programming skills, ability to write maintainable and reusable scripts/programs of medium complexity in suitable languages (TCL/Python).
Understanding of industry standard tools for PNR, Voltage Drop Analysis, STA & Layout Verification.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automation for Physical Design, block level execution and experience.
Experience of cross-functional collaboration with CAD/Physical Verification/Electrical analysis and PNR Teams to ensure electrically robust power grid.
Experience with latest technology nodes tapeout is a plus.
Knowledge in Power Grid Design and/or Voltage Drop Analysis is a plus.

The base pay range for this role is between $162,500 and $286,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

About the Role
The Applications Filtration Engineer will support the development, evaluation, and optimization of filtration technologies across a broad range of bioprocessing and industrial applications. Responsibilities
Technology & Application Development
Support the development and characterization of filtration technologies including normal flow filtration, tangential flow filtration, and solid/liquid separation systems.
Design and execute laboratory experiments to assess filter performance, validate test methods, and evaluate new materials and device configurations.
Analyze performance data and use statistical tools to develop insights, optimize designs, and provide recommendations for product improvements.
Translate customer application needs into engineering requirements to guide internal R&D efforts.
Customer & Market Support
Partner with sales, marketing, and product management to provide technical expertise for key customer applications.
Assist in field evaluations, prototype testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance in customer processes.
Support the preparation of technical documentation, application notes, presentations, and training materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and engineering teams to ensure product readiness and alignment with customer expectations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
Relevant experience in biotechnology, bioprocessing, filtration, or related laboratory research.
Strong understanding of filtration principles, membrane technologies, or downstream bioprocessing.
Experience designing and conducting laboratory experiments and developing test methods.
Proficiency with statistical analysis, DOE, and data processing tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Python, MATLAB).
Familiarity with data acquisition systems, sensors, and laboratory instrumentation.
Knowledge of computational modeling or fluid dynamics (e.g., COMSOL) is a plus.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical information to multiple audiences.

Role Overview:
This role serves as the site SME for all cleaning validation and verification activities related to intermediate and API manufacturing, including facility surfaces and equipment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and implement effective cleaning strategies that meet customer expectations. This position is key to maintaining high quality and safety standards across manufacturing operations. Additionally, you'll manage the environmental and purified water monitoring programs to ensure consistent product quality throughout the process.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead the development, execution, and validation of cleaning procedures for equipment, production lines, and facilities.
Write and review cleaning validation protocols and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring that all materials are free of any residues or contaminants.
Coordinate and conduct sampling (e.g., swab, rinse, and surface) and analytical testing to validate cleaning processes and confirm cleaning effectiveness.
Develop and maintain cleaning validation schedules to ensure timely completion of required validations
Review cleaning validation data, ensuring it meets established acceptance criteria, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications:
Required
Minimum 7 years of quality assurance experience with an undergraduate degree in engineering, science or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in contamination control, cleaning validation, environmental monitoring, and/or purified water systems, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment (API CDMO experience is highly desirable)
Proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical, API/intermediate, medical device, biologics or related FDA industry
Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, EMA, ICH guidelines, and other regulatory standards related to contamination control, cleaning validation, environmental monitoring, and purified water systems
Experience with microbiological sampling, environmental monitoring, and testing of purified water systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment
Proficiency with risk assessment tools such as FMEA
Previous experience working in cross-functional and project-based environments
Experience creating metrics for driving continuous improvement
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication and presentation skills and a mindset that promotes a positive work culture
Hands-on experience with cleaning validation, TOC analysis, and bioburden reduction strategies
Driven and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of cGMP regulations and previous experience in cleaning validation
Experience driving complex projects with the ability to initiate, prioritize, and successfully complete tasks
Proven experience working effectively in team situations and as an individual contributor
