Summary The Design Engineer will provide engineering design, project engineering management, technical support, and leadership to manage capital and major maintenance projects including gas processing and treating, compression and dehydration, condensate stabilization, and metering. The Engineer will be recognized as a technical specialist by the division having in-depth knowledge of engineering process and/or technical aspects of the oil and gas industry. This person will partner with team of designers and will be a part of budgeting for gas processing equipment. **THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT OUR J.W. WILLIAMS FACILITY IN CASPER, WY AND IS FULLY ON-SITE. RELOCATION IS NOT PROVIDED.** Responsibilities Provides process design/validation and product engineering support in a liaison role between end user and Westerman. Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. Leads client and contractor interface, with commercial support. Leads field evaluations of existing process units. Creates process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), provides design and interprets client design documentation for downstream estimating and engineering disciplines. Conceptual development of project scope and estimating new project proposals. Assists in constructability planning, proposal and estimating development. Ability to lead internal and client related meetings for detailed walkthroughs and explanation of design documents (P&IDs, equipment sizing, cause and effect, plot plan). Provides technical support for business development conceptual phase to completion. Assesses the soundness of technical proposals. Qualifications Required Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering required. Minimum of 2 years previous design engineering experience in a related industry required. Must understand details of oil and gas processes and processing equipment. Prior knowledge of Oil and Gas Process software such as ProMax and Compress required. Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong business acumen and analytical skills required. Ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision required. Proven ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to accomplish project goals on time required. Operations Engineer - Responsible for supervising service team members while performing wireline services on oil and gas wells. The individual may specialize in Open-Hole, Cased-Hole, or seek proficiency in both fields of expertise. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for supervision of a two or three-person wireline crew at the well site or shop; 2. Responsible for maintenance and care of mobile equipment including wireline trucks, crane trucks, and other fleet vehicles. Offshore employees working both on water and inland will be responsible for both vehicle fleet and skid fleet. 3. Responsible for maintenance and care of downhole electronic wireline instruments used for gathering geologic or well geometry data and uploaded via telemetry by electromagnetic cable to surface data acquisition and processing systems. Some Well Log analysis skills are required including formation evaluation, production logging, cement bond log, well geometry integrity, and an understanding of open-hole log interpretation. 4.
