About the Role
Were looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help shape, scale, and evolve the automation engine at the core of our platform. This role sits on our Automation team and plays a pivotal part in designing agentic workflows, orchestrating complex distributed systems, and driving the technical direction of the automation stack.

What Youll Do

Demonstrate experience in requirements analysis, solution design and creation of compelling presentations and demonstrations.
Excellent communication and presentation with documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience supporting large enterprise accounts with complex integrations and distributed operational models.

As a member of the Product Development team, the engineer is responsible for leading the technical execution of development projects from initial research through to full-scale production. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Run trials on the pilot and production lines using solvent, emulsion, hot melt, and rubber-based pressure sensitive adhesives and coatings.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
BS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry or related experience
5+ years Product Development experience
Experience in Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes, Adhesives or Release liners is highly desired
Competence in the basic understanding of process control equipment and the interrelations of processing conditions versus final product performance
Competence in FTIR, DSC, peel adhesion, tack and shear testing, and other analytical techniques desirable
Entrepreneurial and continuous innovation mindset
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
General knowledge of chemistry, chemical compatibilities, safety protocols & experience working in a laboratory or pilot setting
Project Management experience required (PMP is a plus)
