Job DescriptionFacilities Engineer ResponsibilitiesThe Facilities Engineer is responsible for supporting facility operations, maintenance activities, and equipment improvements across the organization. This role works as part of a Facilities and Maintenance team that ensures the reliability, performance, and safety of building systems, development manufacturing processes, and testing facilities. The Facilities Engineer supports new equipment installations, facility upgrades, process rearrangements, and serves as a technical resource for onsite maintenance teams and contracted service providers. Implements projects to upgrade existing equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure. Coordinates and supports facility and process rearrangements to optimize operations and improve workflow. QualificationsBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology 1-3 years of experience in a facilities engineering role Internship, co-op, or prior work experience in a manufacturing environment Willingness to travel up to 10% Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available) Ability to maintain compliance with export-control requirements Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of building systems, utilities, and safety regulations Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Experience with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance programs, and spare parts management Experience with facility budgeting, capital planning, and project coordination Experience working with external contractors and ensuring compliance with facility safety requirements
